Hi everyone! Happy Friday!! Woo Hoo!!
Here is my card for today's Limited Supply Challenge on SCS, LSC193!! Jeanne challenged us to make a card with both circles and rectangles, and the only allowed embellishment was ribbon!!
For this card, I used the Mary image from one of the newly released Paper Pretties sets, The Nativity. So, I had an epiphany (spelling???) with this card. As some of you may know, I do NOT love my Copics...in fact, at times I have had serious buyers remorse...well, no longer! I LOVE my Copics...and you want to know why? The PAPER!! DUH!!! I picked up some Georgia Pacific paper and what a difference it makes with the Copics! The colors are SO much richer! I am SO excited (can you tell??)
Anyway, Mary was colored with my Copics, and I added some paper piercing. The circles were made using the 1 1/2, 1 3/8 & 1 1/4 Circle Punches. I added a ribbon knot on the corner and called it done!!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

ReplyDeleteSuper delightful card Jodi! And the paper indeed makes all the difference (PaperTrey Ink white works really well too - even less bleeding!). :)
ReplyDeleteThis card is very sweet! I love the blue and brown color combination. I will have to keep paper choice in mind if I ever work up the nerve (and $) to try Copics.
