Hi everyone! Happy Prettie Wednesday!
Two weeks ago, Charmaine challenged us to make a card using pastels/chalks...now, PLEASE let me preface this by saying that I have NEVER colored with chalks (and you can totally tell by my card!!). I WAS going to tell you that Meredith colored this, but I will fess up and admit that I did! This sure was a challenge for me!!!
I used Simply Special and colored the image (if you can call it coloring...) with Stampin' Pastels. I layered it on some circle nesties and the DSP is the retired SU! Petals & Paisley (can you tell I am trying to use up old DSP to make room for more? LOL).
This card is on it's way to Jackie R! You can see what all the other Pretties, including the newest Prettie Girls, Frances & Christi, did with this challenge right here!!

ReplyDeleteJodi, you are so funny! You couldn't make a bad card if you tried! Your pastel coloring is just fine. What did you use? I like using a Blender Pen, but just touch the edge of the pastel "cake" because it will harden that area. Try that and see if it helps.
ReplyDeleteI love that water jug stamp, all the cards I see with it are so great!
