Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!!Here is a card I created with oodles of MFT goodness!! Speaking of MFT (grin!!), I am the Fabulous Friend today over at the MFT Blog! I am HONORED and SO excited...thanks Kim!!! I would love for you to head on over and see my card!!
I have a baby shower this weekend for a friend that is expecting a little girl. I just KNEW I had to use the Baby Bump set from MFT for her card!!
I started by stamping this prego gal in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced her shirt with the same pattern of Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye that I used on the card. I love this stamp! Tooooo cute!!
I, of course, had to use some cork on my card...it is totally my latest obsession!! I created the scalloped cork border with the luscious new Scallop Die from the Die-Namics collection at MFT, another obsession!! I also used cork to mat my focal image.
I kept this one super simple with (shock!) NO embellies...I really wanted the image and the cork to be the focal points on this one. The sentiment, "Rock the Bump" was stamped directly on the patterned paper in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I wonder if I can make a card WITHOUT using cork and Die-namics! LOL!!
