Taylored Expressions Release Day!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!

Today is Release Day at Taylored Expressions, but I have some more peeks for you!!!

Today, I am sharing peeks of TWO new Destination Cuppie A la Carte stamps, a new set in the Apple Doodle Ink Line, Weigh To Go, AND a new background stamp in the TE line...Stitched Plaid!! WOWSA!!

I MUST start with my Cuppie cards! LOL!! I am featuring Destination Seattle and Destination New York today and I must admit, I had WAY to much fun creating these!!

As soon as I saw the Destination Seattle stamp, I knew that I wanted to create an Eclipse card with Cuppie as the Vampire Riley, before he was transformed!! Can't you just picture him innocently walking down the streets of Seattle, perhaps sipping a Starbucks? (I was going to go on and on, but I don't want to be a spoiler for those of you who haven't seen Eclipse or read the book!).

This was SO easy to make! I simple googled the Eclipse movie poster and printed it out onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I then stamped Destination Seattle Cuppie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, colored the entire image with Copic Markers and then cut it out and popped it up on Foam Tape on top of the movie poster. I had to restrain myself from adding any other embellies and just leave it alone!

For my second card, I used Destination New York!! I HAD to give a shout out to my very own City right??? I did take some liberty with the water...our water isn't quite so blue (LOL...it's more brown but thats beside the point!).

I used some yummy Cherry Hill patterned paper from October Afternoon...this apple pattern was perfect to depict the Big Apple!! I colored the entire image with Copic Markers and then cut it out and embossed it with Rectangle Nestabilities.
I sewed each panel and finished this one off with some yummy Red Silk Ribbon. The entire time I was making this song I was singing Empire State of Mind by Alicia Keys!

For my last project today, I decided to alter a journal!! For this project I used Weigh To Go, the newest addition to the Apple Doodle Ink collection at Taylored Expressions!!

I kept this SUPER simple and stamped "Food Journal" in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and then stamped the scale in Memento Ladybug Red behind the "Food Journal". I cut it out and embossed it with Circle Nestabilities and then sponged the edges.

All the cardstock, patterned paper (LOVE!), ribbon and scallop sticker are from the AWESOME Summertime Project Pantry Kit, also available today, and I stamped the FABULOUS Stitched Plaid Background in Versamark onto the panel behind the "Food Journal" panel. I LOVE the texture it gives!! This will come in handy in October when I am trying to lose all the baby weight I am putting on!!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Baker's Dozen have in store for you today!!

  18. Okay, so I've been thinking about YOU like crazy lately....why, you ask?....because I FINALLY (what the heck have I been waiting for) watched Twilight and New Moon so Hailey and I can go see Eclipse on Tuesday....and after I see Eclipse then I'm going to go back and FINALLY read the books. My SIL already loaned me her Twilight book to get me started, lol!

I LOOOOVED the two movies I've seen so far...Bella and Edward have amazing chemistry on screen.

Anyway, I know there are TONS of Twilight fans out there, but for some reason I always think of you when I hear about the books, lol!

    Great card!!
