I Ruff You!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Here is a card I created using the newly released, and doggone (sorry!) adorable set from There She Goes, Puppy Love (which I see is currently out of stock) This set may just be my favorite from this last release (well...it's tied with Bee Happy!) and I couldn't wait to use it again!!

I started with last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC291. I stamped this little sweetie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand and Memento Rich Cocoa. I layered it onto a Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities cut from Suede Dark Brown Cardstock.

The patterned paper is from Max & Whiskers by Basic Grey and I ran the Candle Glow Dark panel with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I sewed each layer on my sewing machine as well.

I used two sentiments from Puppy Love on my card today. The first, "I ruff you" was cut and embossed using Circle Nestabilities and I attached it to the focal panel with a dog bone clip. The other sentiment, "Puppy Love" was cut out and embossed with the smallest of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders and attached it to my card with a paw print brad. Both the dog bone clip and paw print brad, along with the patterned paper, are from the Pet's Place Project Pantry Kit from Taylored Expressions.
