Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!!!
I am SO excited about the stamp set that I get to peek for you today from the AWESOME new release from Taylored Expressions! The release is TOMORROW and I have a feeling that you are chomping at the bit to get the new goodies!!!
Today, half of the Baker's Dozen is sharing a SUPER sweet new set, Fright Night Favors, and half of us are showing you the AMAZING Hangin' Out Wicked Wardrobe!!! Both of my cards feature the Hangin' Out Wicked Wardrobe and I LOVE this set!
This fab set is the latest installment of the Hangin' Out concept at Taylored Expressions!! Do you have Hangin' Out and Hangin' Out At The Beach? Well then, of COURSE you need a Halloween set too (have I enabled you yet? grin!).
I have two cards to share with you today using Hangin' Out Wicked Wardrobe as I simply could not put this set down!!
I also want to mention that I may have fibbed a bit for the past two days...while I ADORE (to the max!) the Make A Wish Project Pantry that I have used on my projects the past two days, the Project Pantry Kit that I have used today, the Fright Night Project Pantry, is my ABSOLUTE new favorite Project Pantry (I mean it this time!!).
The Fright Night Project Pantry Kit features the AMAZING Happy Halloween Collection from Echo Park Papers...SO totally my new favorite papers! Halloween is my most favorite stampy holiday, so I am SURE I am going to use every last bit of this Fright Night Project Pantry Kit!
For my first card, I focused on the ADORABLE ghost stamp in the Hangin' Out Wicked Wardrobe set and I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock (this neutral cardstock is part of the Fright Night Project Pantry Kit). I stamped the eyes and nose (they are a separate stamp!) and then colored him VERY lightly with some Copic Markers. He then got a coat of Starfire Glitter. I stamped the Boo sentiment repeatedly along the bottom of my card and then sewed all the layers on my sewing machine. The border is the AWESOME new Scalloped Lace Eyelet border Die, also being released tomorrow. I added some bling, a fun bat button and some LUSCIOUS ribbon, all from the Fright Night Project Pantry Kit and called it done! The layout is Saturday's Sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS71!
For my second card today, I started with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC89 (although I deviated a bit from it with my horizontal panel being a bit too low).
I stamped the witch's dress from Hangin' Out Wicked Wardrobe in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. I cut it out and embossed it with Rectangle Nestabilities and then stamped the spiderweb design as the left part of my clothesline. I drew in the clothesline with a Copic Multiliner! I added some shimmer to the orange parts of the dress with a Clear Spica Glitter Pen.
Once again, all the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and the brads on my card are from the AMAZING Fright Night Project Pantry Kit! I, once again (don't say I didn't warn you) used the Scalloped Lace Eyelet border Die and the sentiment, "Wicked" was cut out using the Tags Trio by Spellbinders.
