Taylored Expressions Previews: Day Two!

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!

Welcome to the second day of previews for the AMAZING new Taylored Expressions release!!! The new releases will be available on Friday, September 3!

On the menu today (that totally makes me smile!), are the SUPER fabulous Belated Birthday A la Cartes that were concepted by our very own Jami Sibley!!!

There are 7 different Belated Birthday A la Cartes that are being released, and they each come with two coordinating sentiments, perfect for both the inside and outside of your cards!! Are you like me...a cardmaker that NEVER sends out Birthday cards on time? If so, then these stamps were made for you!!

My card today features the DARLING birds from the Belated Birthday - Stand Out image and this was SO much fun to make! I stamped the birds onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic Markers.

I cut out and embossed the focal panel with Square Nestabilities and then, for some added pizzazz, I paper pierced around the entire edge of the square (I haven't pierced in AGES!).

ALL the patterned paper (B'day Bash by Imaginesce), cardstock & ribbon on my card are from the ROCKIN' new Make A Wish Project Pantry Kit (this should be the FIRST thing in your cart on Friday imho...this kit ROCKS my world!). I used my beloved Bow Easy to create the bow too!

On the front of my card, I used the sentiment "I didn't forget your birthday" and I cut it out and embossed it with Oval Nestabilities and layered it over cardstock cut with Scalloped Oval Nestabilities.

I don't often decorate the inside of my card, but how could I resist when this sentiment was begging to be used, "I just wanted my card to stand out from the crowd". LOVE that!!!

Perhaps you have noticed that on both front and back of my card I used the AMAZING new Scalloped Lace Eyelet Border Die. It's my new obsession and it adds the PERFECT accent to any layout! I also stamped the tallest bird from the birds from the Belated Birthday - Stand Out image in Memento Canteloupe so he peeks up by the sentiment!
