Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!
Today is day three of previews for the latest release from Taylored Expressions, which will be available tomorrow!!
Today, the Baker's Dozen are sharing a REALLY awesome set and coordinating die with you! The set is called Enjoy and it was concepted by our very own Jami Sibley and it is part of the Whimsical Wishes line, which is illustrated by the awesome Nancy McKinney, for Taylored Expressions!!
Like ALL of the stamps at Taylored Expressions, these are red rubber that are already cut out and mounted...when you receive them all you have to do is put them on a block and get to stampin'!
Now, you are at the correct blog...I did actually alter an item! I am not usually a big alterer, but this set and the coordinating Gift Card Frame Die make altering a snap!
I started with a Small Hinged Tin and stamped the frame from Enjoy in Memento Bamboo Leaves onto Kraft cardstock and cut it out using the AWESOME new Gift Card Frame Die.
I then stamped the frame again, this time onto a piece of patterned paper from Jovial by Basic Grey, and cut out the inner portion of the design. I lightly sponged the edges with more Memento Bamboo Leaves and popped it up with some Foam Tape.
I stamped the ADORABLE place setting from Enjoy in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Classic Red cardstock and cut it out. I added some twine and then popped up the place setting in the center of the tin top. I stamped the sentiment, "A Gift For You" under the place setting.
To decorate the outside edges of the tin, I chose some red grosgrain from my stash and simply put some Sticky Tape around the entire edge and just attached the ribbon to it! Easy peasy!! I created a bow with The Bow Easy and placed that in the front! Now I have a darling way to present a gift card this holiday season! This set and die are SO versatile! They really dress up those gift cards!
Make sure to check out what the rest of the girls have cooked up today using this set! I can't wait to see all the different ways to present gift cards!
