Happy Holidays Sir!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!!

Let me preface this post with an apology. I haven't been able to blog around and comment on ANY cards in the past few days. Between two kids (one a newborn), a full time job (fun stuff) and preparing for Christmas, I pretty much feel like I am losing my marbles! Once the holiday is over, I will be (hopefully) back to my commenting self!!

Here is a quick card I made for my daughter Meredith to give to her Tae Kwon Do instructor, Master Eric, who she calls "Sir".

When I say quick, I mean quick! I colored this cutie, Karate Anya from The Greeting Farm, while holding Avery in one arm. I used Copic Markers (of course) and then cut her out and layered her with Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities.

This is my "go to" layout when I need a quick card, or when the mojo is not around. I used some yummy Twig & Tinsel paper from The Girls Paperie...totally my favorite paper these days.

The "Happy Holidays" sentiment is from Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions from There She Goes, and then I used the Banner Day Alphabet from My Favorite Things to add "sir" under the sentiment. I embellished the sentiment panel with some stars I die cut using the Die-namics Stacking Stars Die from My Favorite Things. The border is also from MFT, it's the Die-Namics Little Open Scallop Stip Die.

Thanks SO much for stopping by even though I am a comment slacker!!!

  6. LOL I was just marveling the other day at how much you blog when I know that you have a new baby and are working full time! I totally agree with Dawn because in Canada our maternity leave is a full year and even though my kids are too old (It was three months when my kids were born) you need time off. So cut yourself some slack!! After all stamping is supposed to be fun not a burden.
I'd rather concentrate on the fact that you have time to post at all and provide such wonderful inspiration for us!! Thanks for that and a really cute "SIR" card! Merry Christmas
