Thankful For You!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

I have been having so much fun creating with all the new goodies from the latest Taylored Expressions release!!

Here is a card I created using the GORGEOUS new set, Friendship Blooms!! Not only is this set a must have, there are coordinating dies available as well! To me, that makes it a must have (I am a sucker for the stamps with matching dies!).

For my card today, I started by stamping the stems in Memento Bamboo Leaves onto Choice Buttercream and I then cut it out and embossed the panel with Circle Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with Memento Cantaloupe and Memento Tangelo.

I stamped the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black directly onto the patterned paper, which is the DELICIOUS Modern Homemaker from October Afternoon (hello...where have you been all my life?) and cut them out using the Friendship Blooms Dies. I popped up the flowers on Foam Tape and added some pearls to the center of each flower.

I used the Scallops and Circles Impression Plate to emboss the background panel (LOVE!), and more Modern Homemaker patterned paper completed the background. I added a border of Choice Buttercream with the newly released Small Scallop Border Die and then sewed all the layers on my sewing machine.

I added a simple twill ribbon/bow combo, and some more pearls in opposing corners. I stamped the sentiment, "Thankful For You" onto Kraft cardstock and then cut it into a little tag which I attached over the focal image ala Jackie Pedro (love how she does that!).
