Taylored Expressions Previews: Day One!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Today is the first day of previews for the latest (and greatest, imho!) release from Taylored Expressions!!

I have TONS to share with you today so I hope you will get comfy and stick with me for a bit!!

Did you happen to see Taylor's Blog Post from yesterday? There are three new additions to the Baker's Dozen and I am SO excited! Regina Mangum, Tori Wild and Danielle Lounds have joined the team! We also have a new Guest Designer for September and October, and it is one my personal stamping idols, Barbara Anders!

Today, the Baker's Dozen are sharing three different sets with you today, and I have the pleasure of showing you the AMAZING new Make A Wish set along with the FABULOUS Big Bubbles Background!!! Other members of the Baker's Dozen will have peeks of another set on the menu for today (grin!), Borderlicious!! All of the amazing sets are illustrated by the SUPER talented (and totally sweet!) Nancy McKinney!!

Make A Wish is the latest set in the Taylored Expressions Giving Tree Program! For the months of September, October and November Taylored Expressions will donate $7.00 to a national children's charity that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. All of the charitable stamp sets are sold as a sheet of rubber and will need to be trimmed before using. We do this in order to reduce the cost of manufacturing and be able to donate even more to charity

For my first card, I started with last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC295. I stamped the "Make A Wish" sentiment from the set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. I used a Clear Spica Glitter Pen to add some shimmer to the star that dots the "i".

Now, I know (I really do), that EVERY month I tell you that the current Project Pantry Kits are my absolute FAVORITE, but seriously, the two Project Pantry Kits that will be available this month are OFF the charts AWESOME! I literally squealed when I saw them and I cannot stop using them! Both of my cards today feature the Make A Wish Project Pantry, and in true Taylored Expressions style, it is CHOCK full of fabulousness! The patterned paper is the B'day Bash Collection from Imaginesce and I just want to use it on every single card I make!!

Perhaps you have noticed some other delightful new items on my cards today? Can you see the AMAZING scallop border on my cards??? It's the brand new Scallop Lace Eyelet Border Die that will be available on Friday with all the other goodies! I LOVE this die and, much like the Project Pantry Kits, want to use it on every card I make!!

More new dies that are featured on my Make A Wish card are the ROCKIN' balloons that you see!!! Yippee! Balloon dies...that totally rocks my world! Just like all of the Taylored Dies, these are SO easy to use!! You can check out Taylor's post from last month, when we introduced Taylored Dies, right HERE.

My second card features another new stamp set being released on Friday, the Big Bubbles Background!! I LOVE background stamps and can tell that this one is going to get ALOT of use in my stamp room! I LOVE how whimsical the bubbles are! On my second card, I used it twice, on both the blue cardstock in the background as well as the green circle behind my focal image.

Speaking of my focal image on my second card, can you even STAND the cuteness of this topsy turvey cake? It totally makes me smile and it was SO much fun to color as well!! I added some "chocolate" accents to my cake using Adirondack Espresso Dimensional Pearls! You can also see that I used the delightful Scallop Lace Eyelet Border Die on this card, and as I mentioned above, ALL the cardstock, patterned paper and ribbon & twine on my cards are from the Make A Wish Project Pantry Kit!!

PLEASE run over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen Blogs so you can see all of the wonderful peeks that have in store for you using what's on the menu today!!!

So Sweet!!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Monday!!

Here is a card I made for today's There She Goes Challenge, TSG70, brought to us by my BSF Jessie. She has SUCH a fun challenge for us today, 1-2-3...use one piece of patterned paper, two different colors of cardstock and three embellishments!! SO fun!!

For my card, I used the newly released Bits of Stardust from There She Goes! I used Taylor's Sketch from Friday, TESC126 for the layout.

I stamped the onesie from Bits of Stardust in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and then again on the patterned paper I used, Delicate Dots from SU! I then paper pieced the onesies with the patterned paper...totally easy and totally cute. I used Barely Banana and Bashful Blue as the cardstock colors.

For my three embellishments, I used Barely Banana Grosgrain Ribbon, Bashful Blue Brads and a button from my stash. I used the "so sweet" sentiment from Bits of Stardust and punched it out with the Word Window Punch and added a brad to each side.

The Barely Banana panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. The onesies were layered on Circle Nestabilities and layered with Bashful Blue circles cut from Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.

We would LOVE for you to play along with us! Make a card or project using the 1-2-3 challenge and link your creation to the There She Blog, TSG70 post! One lucky participant will receive a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store.

Bunches of Thanks!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch For You To Try, SFYTT!!! What a FUN sketch with tons of circles (which I LOVE!).

I also made this card for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge, Floral Fantasy!

To start, I stamped Flopsey's Flowers from My Favorite Things in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I stamped the flowers that he is holding two more times, colored them with Copics, cut them out and popped them up on Foam Tape. The center flower is popped up one level further than the others. I added Walnut Stain Distress Stickles to the center of the flowers as well.

All of the patterned paper on my card is Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket (I am blowing through this paper...good thing I have a back up!!), and I used Circle Nestabilities to cut out all the circles. I layered them on more circles cut from Choice Buttercream.

In addition to the flowers that Flopsey is holding, I added more floral accents using the awesome Die-Namics Flower Trio and Leaf Trio Duo from My Favorite Things. I cut the flowers out of Sunflowers Medium and the leaves out of Intense Kiwi. I tucked the smallest leaves into the flowers that Flopsey is holding. I attached the flowers to the circles with Cherry Red Brads by American Crafts and finished off the card with some vanilla thread. The sentiment, "Bunches of Thanks" was stamped directly onto the patterned paper.

Check out what the AMAZING SFYTT sisters have done with this sketch right here!!

Bellarific {Free Form} Friday & Some News

Hi everyone! Happy Bellarific Friday!!

Today's Bellarific Friday Challenge was free form, and I can't wait to head on over to Bloggabella and see all of the creations! Today is also the last Bellarific Friday in the new Bella Babe contest!!

For my card today, I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC88 from this past Tuesday!

I couldn't wait to ink up this ADORABLE Little Peep's Heart from the latest Stamping Bella release! These Little Peeps just melt my heart!! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and colored her with Copic Markers.

I cut out and embossed the image with Rectangle Nestabilities, cutting around the heart so it was "out of the box". I added some Martha Stewart Crystal Glitter to the heart with a glue pen...love how sparkly it is!!

The patterned paper is all from Love Me Do by My Minds Eye, and I used the Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die from MFT for the scalloped border and the flower was cut with the Garden Party Blooms Die Set 1 from Taylored Expressions. I added a button from my stash in the center of the flower.

I stamped the sentiment, "I heart you" directly onto the patterned paper in Memento Tuxedo Black. It was tough, but I refrained from using my sewing machine on this card! I find myself using it ALL the time, so I thought I would challenge myself to NOT use it! LOL!!

Now, for some news...today is my last Bellarific Friday as a Bella Babe. It was a VERY difficult decision but I have decided to step down from the Stamping Bella Design Team. Not sure if many of you are aware, but I am expecting my second little one in September and I needed to make some decisions to be able to focus more on my family! I LOVE Stamping Bella and Emily and am SO grateful for the opportunity to be a Bella Babe! It's been a blast and, rest assured, I will be still be showing lots of love for all my Stamping Bella stamps!

Now, make sure to head on over to Bloggabella and leave some love on today's Bellarific Friday post! One lucky commenter will win Bella Bucks!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Center of Attention Product Spotlight - Frame Your Imagination Stand

** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN A SMIDGE FOR MY THERE SHE GOES POST...THANKS! **

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!

Once a month, half of the Baker's Dozen spotlights an awesome product available at Taylored Expressions, and today, I get to share with you what I have done with the AWESOME Frame Your Imagination Vertical Stand!!

These stands are made exclusively for Taylored Expressions and they are ready for you to decorate or alter anyway you would like! They are already sanded (I use to be a tole painter before I caught the stamping bug, and the fact that there is NO prep at all needed on this stand is AWESOME!!).

There are SO many things you can feature using the Frame Your Imagination Stand, and today, I have chosen to make a calendar for my kitchen counter using the 2011 6X6 Dated Calendar Download available at Taylored Expressions.

While there are endless ways to decorate these stands, I chose to keep it simple and simply painted my stand with black acrylic paint and then sprayed it with an acrylic sealer. Once that was done (and it took no time at all!), I concentrated on my calendar!

You can see from the finished picture of my Frame Your Imagination Vertical Stand, that I placed my finished calendar pages in 6X6 Page Protectors. These are AWESOME and for a full year calendar, you only need one set as you can use the front and back!! Bonus!

I created an entire years worth of calendar pages, but will only show you three months here (January is in the finished picture) today (unless you want to sit here @ my blog all day!!!).

I decided to have my beloved Cuppie (I just love him!) be the focus of my calendar, and there is no easier way than to use A Year of Sweets 1, A Year of Sweets 2, A Year of Sweets 3 and A Year of Sweet Sentiments all from Taylored Expressions!

To start, I printed out all 12 months of the 2011 6X6 Dated Calendar Download onto Choice Snow White Cardstock.

I then stamped the corresponding Cuppie for each month in Memento Tuxedo Black onto the left side of the calendar page.

All of the Cuppies were colored with Copic Markers and I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to select portions of the images.

A corresponding sentiment, stamped from A Year of Sweet Sentiments, was stamped over the name of the month on each page!

For a limited time, August 26-29, the Frame Your Imagination Vertical Stand is on sale @ Taylored Expressions for only $10.99!!! Here is a list of ideas that you can use in conjunction with the Frame Your Imagination Stand!!

Taylored Expressions Blast From The Past Blog Hop!

** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN A SMIDGE FOR MY THERE SHE GOES POST...THANKS! **

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions Blast From The Past Blog Hop!!! I LOVE this monthly hop as I get to use some of my beloved, previously released Taylored Expressions sets!!

If you have been around my blog at all, you know that I just LOVE Cuppie, so of course, I had to use a Cuppie stamp today!! I started with the AWESOME sketch provided by the uber talented (and super sweet) Sankari and got to work!!

For my card, I knew I wanted to use some of the new (and delish) Cosmo Cricket Matilda paper (and just so you know, ALL of the Cosmo Cricket Mini Decks are available in the Fresh Out Of The Oven Catagory at Taylored Expressions so stock up before they are gone!) so I decided to make a Halloween card! Halloween is my very favorite stampy holiday! I used the SUPER sweet Trick or Sweet set from Taylored Expressions and stamped the Cuppie Witch in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored her with Copic Markers.

I cut out and embossed the focal panel with Circle Nestabilities that I layered over Scallop Circle Nestabilities. I added some purple Taylor's Tiny Twinkles for a bit of pop. I created scalloped borders from one of the Matilda patterns for the left side of my card, and added a sentiment panel to the right side, using the "Best Witches" sentiment from Trick or Sweet. I then sewed the layers on my sewing machine. I finished my card off with three buttons from my stash that I tied with vanilla thread.

You can check out all the fabulous stampers participating in today's hop right here:

There She Goes Previews: Day One

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Today is the first day of previews for the newest release from There She Goes! Did you make your way here from the amazing Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, please start the hop at the There She Goes Blog so you don't miss a thing!

Today, the Trendsetters get to share two new sets with you, Angel Mail and Bits of Stardust!!

For my first card, I used the newest set in the Stamps For A Cause Collection at There She Goes, Angel Mail!

This set is SO beautiful! It includes a total of 6 stamps and will sell for $7.00. $4.00 from the sale of each Angel Mail set will be donated to the Chemo Angels!

I started with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from this past Sunday, SSSC82, and it was perfect for what I had in mind!

The beautiful sentiment, "The only courage that matters is the kind that gets you from one moment to the next" was cut out and embossed with Labels 9 Nestabilities and I sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand and then Memento Potter's Clay while the cardstock was still in the die.

I then colored the wings (they were designed by the AMAZING Torico) with Copic Markers and gave them a coat of Candlelight Shimmerz. I cut them out and adhered them behind my sentiment panel.

The patterned paper is all from the new Wanted Mini Deck by Cosmo Cricket and I sewed each layer, including the focal panel, with my sewing machine. I added some grommetts and twine along with a fun Frameabellie behind my focal image.

The second set we are previewing today is called Bits of Stardust, and once again, it was illustrated by the AMAZING Torico!!

This set includes a total of 28 stamps and will sell for just $18.00!

For my card, I started with the sweet baby carriage image along with the sentiment, "Our lives are filled with happiness, Our hearts are full of love, we finally have the little babe we've been dreaming of". How SWEET is that?

I cut out and embossed the focal panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe. The patterned paper is all from Ducks In A Row by October Afternoon and I sewed each layer on my sewing machine.

I added a Certainly Celery Brad to the baby carriage (too cute right?) and the scallops were created with the Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die from MFT. A simple ribbon and bow made with my Bow Easy of vanilla ribbon finishes this one off!

Would you LOVE a chance to win Angel Wings and Bits of Stardust? Getting that chance is super easy! Simply hop around and comment on each Trendsetter's Angel Wings/Bits of Starbust post and when you are done, head back to the There She Goes Blog and leave your information on the Angel Wings/Bits of Stardust post! One lucky winner will win Angel Wings and Bits Of Stardust!! Good luck!

Thank You!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

Here is a card I created using last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC294! I had a blast with this sketch!!

For my card, I used one of my favorite stamps from Stamping Bella, Hannah Lollipop!!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced her dress with a piece of the same patterned paper that I used on the rest of my card, Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket!

The sentiment was stamped onto Choice Buttercream and cut out using the smallest tag of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders. The flower was cut from Classic Red cardstock with the Die-Namics Flower Trio & Leaf Trio Die and I added a So Saffron Brad to the center.

This week's Bellarific Friday challenge is all about what YOU want to make! There is no limit or sketch, so send your bestest Bella creation to Emily by Thursday night to be entered into the last week of the Bella Babe contest! Good luck!!

You Make The Grade!

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday!!

Here is a card I created for this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge, Hit The Books, !MFTWSC08182010!

For my card, I inked up the DARLING Pure Innocence You Make The Grade from My Favorite Things (which looks to be out of stock but I am sure will be back in soon!), and colored her with Copic Markers. I embossed the A+ on the blackboard with White Embossing Powder (it was a LONG time since I have used my embossing gun!).

All of the patterned paper is the new Mitten Weather from Cosmo Cricket (ALL of the new Cosmo Cricket papers are available @ Taylored Expressions!). I ADORE these papers and I think they are perfect for any project, not necessarily just for Christmas! I used two of the patterns to paper piece her sweater and little skirt too!!

I cut her out and popped her up with Foam Tape onto a piece of Mitten Weather that I cut and embossed with Circle Nestabilities. The scallops were created with the Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die and cut from Island Mist Medium. I then embossed them with, you guessed it, the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. A twill ribbon and bow created with my Bow Easy, as well as some Vanilla Brads by American Crafts, finish this one off!! I think I will save this and give it to my little one on her first day of school, which is fast approaching!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for this week's Sketch For You To Try, SFYTT, which is being sponsored by the AWESOME Greeting Farm!!

I ADORE the stamps and digis from The Greeting Farm, so I was SO excited to create this card today!! I actually flipped the sketch so that it would accomodate the image I used.

I used the digi Cupcake Anya on my card, and she was SO fun to color! I printed her out onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and then sewed the edges for more interest. I added some green Taylors Tiny Twinkles to her hair bows and the bow on her waist.

The patterned paper is all from DeLovely by Cosmo Cricket and the yellow pattern was cut with Circle Nestabilities. The Intense Pink panel was embossed with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder (the only one I reach for these days!), and all the layers were sewn on my sewing machine.

The sentiment, "Happy Birthday Cupcake", along with the cupcake outline stamped behind it, are from For The Love Of Cupcakes from Taylored Expressions and I cut it out and embossed it with Oval Nestabilities and framed it with Intense Pink cut from Scallop Oval Nestabilities. I finished off the card with three Bit's Of Bling down the left side!

Have A Purrrrrrrfect Day!

Hi everyone! Happy Bellarific Friday!!

Today's challenge is this FAB sketch from Paulabella!!! For my card, I used the ADORABLE Swingin' Mavis from Stamping Bella and I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper.

I colored her with Copic Markers and using some Colorless Blender re-inker and a textured paper towel, I added some texture to Mavis.

I used my new favorite paper again, Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket, and I sewed the layers on my sewing machine.

I used some red grosgrain ribbon to separate my two panels and created a bow with the Bow Easy and attached it to the bottom of the focal panel.

The sentiment, "Have a purrrrrrfect day!" is also from Stamping Bella, and I stamped it and then cut it in panels and attached it underneath the focal panel.

Next Friday is the last Bellarific Friday of the Bella Babe contest! There is no theme...it's a free for all! Make sure to send your best Bella creation to Emily by next Thursday evening to be entered!!!

Grandma's Little Angel!

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!

Here is a card I created using last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC293!

I used a combination of two new Pure Innocence set from My Favorite Things for my card today, the girl from Being Cute Is What I Do (and she is SO super cute!) and the sentiment is from Little Angel.

I made this card for my mom to give to my little one, Meredith. I stamped this little cutie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream, and using my Copic Multi-Liner, I made her pigtails a bit longer so she looked more like my Meredith.

I colored her with Copic Markers and using the same patterned paper that I used on my card (and my latest obsession), Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket, I paper pieced her shirt. I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand and Memento Potter's Clay.

I used the new Die-Namics Oval Chain Border die to create the border on one side of the focal image (a la the sketch) and I used Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die for the patterned paper scallops. I also HAD to use the new Die-Namics Flower Trio and Leaf Trio for my flower and I added a wooden button from the Scoop O' Buttons Earth Girl Collection in the center.

I finished this one off with some ruffled ribbon from my stash and all the layers were sewn on my sewing machine.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

For You!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Here is a card I created using last Saturday's sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS68!!

I decided to make a Christmas card today because I REALLY wanted to use the new Mitten Weather paper from Cosmo Cricket!!

I started by stamping Allboxedupa-Bella from Stamping Bella twice in Memento Tuxedo Black, once onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and once in one of the patterns from Mitten Weather.

I colored the entire image with Copic Markers and then paper pieced the package in the foreground and cut it out and popped it up on Foam Tape. I added some shine with my Clear Spica Glitter Pen to the bows and all the polka dots on the presents.

I cut out and embossed the main focal panel with Square Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo. The sentiment is from Turtle Tots- A Flower For You, and I just inked up the "for you" portion and cut it out and embossed it with Circle Nestabilities.

All the layers were sewn on my sewing machine and I added two Cherry Brads by American Crafts on the bottom corner and called it done!!

This week's Bellarific Friday challenge is a fab sketch brought to us by Paulabella! Make sure to email your creation to Emily by Thursday evening to be in the running for the next Bella Babe!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

I Ruff You!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

Here is a bookmark I created for today's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG68...which is to make, you guessed it, a bookmark!!

I used this FABULOUS tutorial from SCS for a Corner Bookmark and it was SO easy and fun to make!

I used the ADORABLE new set from There She Goes, Puppy Love, for my bookmark, I stamped this cute pup in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored him with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the panel with Circle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Menento Tangelo.

I then stamped the word bubble, also from Puppy Love, and the sentiment, "I ruff you", from Puppy Love, and then cut it out and popped it up with Foam Tape.

The patterned paper is Max & Whiskers by Basic Grey, which is my favorite paper to pair with this set!! I embossed the bookmark with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder and added a ribbon of Twill Tape. I also added two brads for some interest. The bottom borders were created with the Scallop Edge Punch.

We would LOVE you to play along with today's challenge and create a bookmark of your own (a corner bookmark is just one option). Create a bookmark and link you creation to today's TSG68 post on the There She Goes Blog. One lucky participant will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate from There She Goes.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Drinking Of You!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!!

Here is a card I made for TCP Tuesday 121 over at Dancing At Pajamas (yes...I know it's Sunday...lol!!). What a FAB color challenge of Denim, Kraft & Red Carole and Joanne came up with!!

For my card, I used the new Toni's Tea Set from The Cat's Pajamas! I stamped the tea cup in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and then again in two different patterns of the new Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket. This is fast becoming my new favorite paper...I think I better get another mini deck!!

I used more of the patterns from Togetherness for my card and I sponged the edges with Memento Potter's Clay to age them a bit. All of the layers were sewn on my sewing machine.

I cut a piece of Kraft with Circle Nestabilities and then embossed it with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I then attached my paper pieced tea cup to the circle panel and then stamped the steam from Toni's Tea Set on top. I added some Glossy Accents to the "tea" part of the tea cup.

The sentiment CRACKS me up..."drinking of you" and I created a tag and attached it to the card along with a double flower that I cut from Flower Buttons Cut-Ups and I added a red button and some vanilla thread from my stash.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Enjoy The Ride!

** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY SPARKLE CREATIONS POST...THANKS!! **

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT)! I seriously {heart} Jen's sketches!!!

For my card today, I used a set that I just got from The Cat's Pajamas, Joyride! I was TOTALLY enabled by Jackie Pedro with her amazing card HERE!

I stamped this cutie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe while the panel was still in the die. I layered it with a piece of Wizard Dark cardstock cut from Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities.

The patterned paper, which is where I pulled the colors for the card from, is the DELIGHTFUL new Pixie-Licious by Cosmo Cricket. I never really thought of myself as a purple person, but I am just LOVING it lately (in fact, I just got this bag from Vera Bradley to use as a diaper bag...I am all about the purple!).

I used the green polka dot paper from Pixie-Licious to create the flower and I used the AWESOME new Flower Buttons Cut-Ups, also from The Cat's Pajamas! I added some vanilla thread and created a bow to top it off. I sewed each layer with my sewing machine and added the sentiment, "Enjoy The Ride" directly onto the patterned paper. I also added the "beep beep" sentiment to my focal panel. Both of the sentiments are from Joyride!

Sparkle Creations Sneak Peek: Day 1

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!!

I am so excited that I am the Guest Designer this month for Sparkle Creations!! Sparkle's stamps are SO fun and I had a blast playing with the new rubber being released on Saturday, August 14th!!

My card today features a darling new stamp, Suitcase Ruby, from Sparkle Creations! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I stamped her again and colored and cut out the flower in her hair and popped it up on foam tape.

I cut my focal image so that part of her hair and part of the suitcase are "out of the box". LOVE the look of that!!

The patterned paper is the new Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket and I just love it with Ruby! I sewed each of the layers with my sewing machine.

To separate my two patterns of paper, I used the Die-Namics Jumbo Ric Rac Die and the Die-Namics Ribbon RE: Creations Grosgrain Texture Board, both from MFT. I added some Twill Tape and Chocolate Linen Thread over it. I added a bow that I created with the Twill Tape and my Bow Easy, and added a Jenni Bowlin Red Vintage Button on top of the bow.

The sentiment, "Bon Voyage" is from the Pure Innocence Are We There Yet set from MFT, and I think it's super cute with Suitcase Ruby!! I cut it out and embossed the panel with Oval Nestabilities and layered it with Suede Dark Brown cut from Scallop Oval Nestabilities.

Check out what the Sparkle Creations Team has done today right here:

Have A Sweet Day!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

Here is a card I created using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from this past Sunday, SSSC80!

I hadn't yet inked up the a la modes - Birthday Girl, from my last MFT order and I couldn't wait to pair her with some new Cosmo Cricket paper, Togetherness! Ah...new stamps AND new paper...does it get any better? ETA: I just noticed that my card also qualified for today's WSC Challenge...Cupcakes!!

I stamped the Birthday Girl in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced the cupcake liner with a piece of the Togetherness paper, which I also used on my card.

I have to tell you, the new Cosmo Cricket lines are DELISH! I got five new 6X6 paper pads and they are SO much fun (I got Togetherness, Pixie-licious, Mitten Weather, Wanted and Matilda...I think it's all of their new lines).

I stamped the sentiment, "Have A Sweet Day", also from a la modes - Birthday Girl, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and cut it out and embossed it with Circle Nestabilities. I layered it on top of a piece of Classic Red cut from Scallop Circle Nestabilities and added four Taylor's Tiny Twinkles under the sentiment to make it pop.

I sewed each layer on my sewing machine and added a ribbon knot of red grosgrain ribbon!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

You're So Tweet!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

I have a tweet (grin!) card to share with you today using some DELIGHTFUL new stamps available now from Taylored Expressions, Tweet Hearts!

For my card, I started with the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC123, for the layout. Did you know that you can access all of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenges right HERE on Taylor's Blog?

I started by stamping the branch from Tweet Hearts in Memento Rich Cocoa, and the stamped the leaves in Memento Pear Tart. I stamped the bird twice, once in Colorbox Warm Green and again in Memento Lady Bug. I then cut out the wing and popped it up on Foam Tape. The hearts were also stamped with Memento Lady Bug.

The patterned paper is Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye and I ran the Razzleberry Light panel through the Cuttlebug with the Impressabilities Flowers by Spellbinders. I love how it mimics the flowered patterned paper. All the layers were sewn with my sewing machine.

I added a Jenni Bowlin Vintage Cream Button that I tied with some chocolate linen thread to one corner of my focal panel. I used Rectangle Nestabilities to cut out and emboss the focal panel and Oval Nestabilities and Scallop Oval Nestabilities for the sentiment, "You're So Tweet". Both of these panels were sponged with Memento Canteloupe before removing the dies.

To finish off my card, I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in between each scallop on the border, as well as on the bird's wing! Easy peasy!!

You can check out all of the goodies that are Fresh Out of the Oven right HERE at Taylored Expressions!!
