You Are A Great Pear!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!!

I have a card today to share with you using the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC156!  Check out the sketch...I do SO love a sketch with a circle element!

For my card today I pulled out the ADORABLE new Fruity Friends set from Taylored Expressions.  I seriously LOVE this fun, punny new set!  I started by stamping the pears in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut them out and popped them up with Foam Tape onto two circles.

All of the patterned paper is Loyal from Authentique.  The kraft background was impressed with the Scallops & Circles Taylored Impression Plate.  I stamped the sentiment, "You Are A Great Pear" onto a piece of Choice Snow White Cardstock and then cut it out in a flag shape.  I added a fun scallop accent underneath with the Medium Scallop Border Taylored Die, which I adorned with some crystals.

Here is a closeup of the sentiment panel:

And here is a closeup of this cute pear pair.  LOL.  I love their sweet expressions!

Here is the Taylored Die and Taylored Impression Plate I've used on my card:

I started with the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC155, but I turned it on it's side to accommodate my image. I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers I then cut him out and layered him with Oval NestabilitiesAll of the patterned paper is On The Bright Side One from My Minds Eye.

I stamped the sentiment, "Congrats, Graduate" and then tucked it under one of the panels as a little tab.  I've used the new Reach For The Stars Taylored Die and cut it out three times.  I then layered them for a fun accent.  I really love how that came out!  I also used the previously released Seeing Stars Taylored Dies to create my trio of stars.

Here is a closeup of the Reach For The Stars Taylored Die in action (times three!).

    Happy Easter {TESC154}!

    Hi everyone!!  Happy Thursday!!

I have a card to share with you today that I made following the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC154!  What a fabulous sketch...I LOVE a sketch with a circle element!

For my card today, I inked up the ADORABLE new Moka April, recently released from Taylored Expressions.  I ADORE all of the sets in the Moka line, but OMG...isn't this little cutie SO sweet?

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.  Oh!  Speaking of Copic Markers, Taylor has ALL 12 new colors in the store now!  Check out the Fresh Out Of The Oven Category (there are also LOTS of new papers, flowers and other goodies!) now!  I then cut her out and popped her up with Foam Tape onto circles cut with Circle Nestabilities.

All of the patterned paper is Fiddlesticks from My Minds Eye, and I added one of my beloved bling circles around the circle panels.  I added a bow for one of the horizontal panels, and I created it with The Bow Easy.  The other panel was cut with the Fly Your Flag 2 Taylored Die and tucked under the focal panel.

The sentiment, "Happy Easter" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Fly Your Flag 2 Taylored Die and I tucked it under the bow.  I am so thrilled with this little cutie...now I have to make another so I have two for my girls this Easter!

Here is the Taylored Die I've used on my card:

I ALWAYS refer to the free Moka Hair & Skin Coloring Chart right HERE from Taylored Expressions when coloring these cuties...LOVE all the different hair/skin combos!

Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients - Happy Birthday!

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN A SMIDGE FOR MY KRAFTIN' KIMMIE POST**

    Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday!

I am excited to share another project with you using the FABULOUS February Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions!  Here is a glimpse at this amazing kit!

Perhaps you stopped by yesterday when the Baker's Dozen and the Key Ingredients Team previewed this kit along with the exclusive Vintage Dreamer stamp set?  If not, I'd love for you to head on over to Taylor's Blog to get all the deets...it's such a fabulous value!

For my card today, I started with the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC152.  I flipped the sketch to accommodate the image I wanted to use today...the ever darling Moka Taylor!  I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.  I then "fussy cut" her out and popped her up onto panels cut with Petite Oval and Petite Scalloped Oval Nestabilities.  I impressed the kraft oval with the new Houndstooth/Damask Taylored Impression Plate (swoon!).

The scallop panel was cut with the Medium Scallop Border Taylored Die, and all of the cardstock and patterned paper, Rosy from My Minds Eye, are from the February Key Ingredients Kit.  I added LOTS of distressing, something I don't often do but just LOVE the look of), and lots of stitching.  The sentiment, "Happy Birthday" is from Labels Of Love, and I stamped it onto a panel of patterned paper cut with the Fly Your Flag 2 Taylored Die.  I think this die is invaluable...I use it ALL the time.

Here is a closeup of sweet Moka Taylor.  LOVE her.  You can also get a good view of the panel impressed with the Houndstooth/Damask Taylored Impression Plate.

Using ribbon and a GORGEOUS Prima Fairytale Rose, both from the February Key Ingredients Kit, I created this bow with The Bow Easy and added the flower on top of it.  LOVE the look of this...and I MUST get more of these roses...they are SO gorgeous!  All of the panels are popped up with Foam Tape for lots of dimension.

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card today:

My sweet friends Charmaine and Jessie (over on the KI Blog) have more inspiration for you today using the February Key Ingredients Kit!

    Trick or Sweet!

    Hi everyone!!  Happy Thursday!!!

Here is a card I created using the most recent Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC145!!  Super fun sketch!!

Halloween is my most favorite stampy holiday, so for my card today, I decided to pull out one of my most favorite Halloween sets ever...Trick or Sweet from Taylored Expressions Trick or Sweet II is my second favorite Halloween set...Cuppie dressed up for Halloween...sign me up!

For my card, I started by stamping this kitty Cuppie (OMG...how CUTE is she???) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.  I paper pieced the "liner" with one of the same patterns I used on my card, which are all from Too Cute Too Spook from Bella Boulevard.  LOVE these papers!!!

I cut out the focal panel behind my kitty Cuppie using the Take Note 3 Die, and then created a layer for it by simply tracing it onto a piece of black cardstock and then cutting it out.  Easy peasy and I love the layered look of it.  I used the Small Scallop Border Die to separate the two patterns, and then, I wanted to mat my black brads in each corner of the focal panel, but sold my darn circle punch.  However, we stampers are a resourceful bunch, so I flipped through my binder of Taylored Dies, and Viola!  I used the measuring spoons die from the Kitchen Accessories dies and the largest "spoon" was the perfect size.  I just used my paper snips to continue the circle!!  I cut them four times and then matted my black brads with them!

The sentiment, "Trick or Sweet" was stamped and then cut into a little flag.  I anchored it to my card with a purple button from my stash tied with some orange Baker's Twine.  The frame, sentiment and my Kitty Cuppie are all popped up with Foam Tape for some dimension.

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card:

    Happy Birthday Lori!

    Hi everyone!!  Happy Wednesday!!!

We have an absolute MOB of people today who have gathered to wish our DEAR friend, the FABULOUS Lori Craig, and VERY VERY Happy Birthday!!!  Surprise Lori!

Lori is, by FAR, one of the sweetest people I know.  When it came time to create a card for her, I knew I wanted to use the DARLING Sweet Friends set from Taylored Expressions!  I started with the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC138 for my layout.  This is SUCH a fun sketch!

All of the patterned paper is Lime Twist Life of The Party from My Minds Eye, and after putting all the papers together, I stamped three of the treats from Sweet Friends in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored them all with Copic Markers.  I then cut them out and attached them to the card with Foam Tape.

The sentiment is PERFECT for sweet Lori, "Happy Birthday To One Of The Sweetest People I Know", and I stamped it again in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and created a little flag.  I anchored it to my card with a double flower cut from the same Life Of The Party paper using the Friendship Blooms Dies.  I added a button and some twine to finish it off.

Here are the Taylored Dies I've used on my card today:

Lori, I hope you have a WONDERFUL Birthday and that this year is full of love and happiness!!  I SO wish I was able to head to CHA this summer so I could give you a big hug in person, but I am sending you virtual hugs now!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

I am more of a sit in my jammies, drink a big cup of coffee and shop online kinda gal, and Taylored Expressions is making that pretty easy today!! I have TONS to tell you today about some FAB deals to be had at Taylored Expressions...here we go!!

The sale starts at 12:00 PMCST Wednesday and lasts through 12:01 am CST Tuesday! There are SO many goodies on special, including the Animals In Love stamps, which I am using today!

My card features the adorable Scotties In Love a la carte and I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I used last week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC134 for my layout, but since I used a circle instead of an oval, it changed the layout up a bit. I cut out the scotties and embossed them with Circle Nestabilities which I then layered using Lacey Circle Nestabilities. The sentiment, "my soulmate" is from Animal Love Sentiments and I created a little tab for it.

The patterned paper is all from Life Is Good by Echo Park Papers and I rounded all of the corners using the Corner Chomper. I also sewed each layer and the back panel was embossed using the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Three brads in the top corner finish this one off!

You can find all of the Taylored Expressions Black Friday Deals right HERE, and here are just some of the fantastic deals to be had!

    Warm Winter Wishes!

    Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!

Here is a card I created using the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge from this past Friday, TESC131!

As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew just what I wanted to do! I pulled out the brand new Hangin' Out At The North Pole from Taylored Expressions and stamped the two different stockings in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers.

I cut out and embossed the panel with Square Nestabilities (I think that both the Large and Small Rectangle Nestabilities are a must have!). I have seen so many cards using frames these days, and it was VERY easy to re-create that look using Nestabilities.

I stamped the sentiment, "Warm Winter Wishes", from the new Winter Wonderland set from Taylored Expressions in Memento Tuxedo Black on the bottom right corner of my panel. I then put the Nestie back onto my panel and, using a Copic Multi-Liner, simply traced around the inside of the nestie, leaving a space around the sentiment. Easy peasy and I LOVE the look of this! While I was at it, I sponged the edges with Memento Cantaloupe and Memento Tangelo. I can't wait to try this with other Nesties...love some of the Labels...wouldn't that look gorgeous?

The patterned paper is from Mitten Weather by Cosmo Cricket, and as you can see, I used my beloved Scalloped Eyelet Border Die to create the border on the bottom. My main panel of Island Mist Light was embossed with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder and I used my Bow Easy to create the Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain Bow. Three Taylor's Tiny Twinkles under the focal panel finish this one off (I did use the Embellie Gellie to put them on)!! All of the panels are popped up on Foam Tape for dimension.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

    So Sweet!!

    Hi everyone!!! Happy Monday!!

Here is a card I made for today's There She Goes Challenge, TSG70, brought to us by my BSF Jessie. She has SUCH a fun challenge for us today, 1-2-3...use one piece of patterned paper, two different colors of cardstock and three embellishments!! SO fun!!

For my card, I used the newly released Bits of Stardust from There She Goes! I used Taylor's Sketch from Friday, TESC126 for the layout.

I stamped the onesie from Bits of Stardust in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and then again on the patterned paper I used, Delicate Dots from SU! I then paper pieced the onesies with the patterned paper...totally easy and totally cute. I used Barely Banana and Bashful Blue as the cardstock colors.

For my three embellishments, I used Barely Banana Grosgrain Ribbon, Bashful Blue Brads and a button from my stash. I used the "so sweet" sentiment from Bits of Stardust and punched it out with the Word Window Punch and added a brad to each side.

The Barely Banana panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. The onesies were layered on Circle Nestabilities and layered with Bashful Blue circles cut from Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.

We would LOVE for you to play along with us! Make a card or project using the 1-2-3 challenge and link your creation to the There She Blog, TSG70 post! One lucky participant will receive a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store.

    You're So Tweet!

    Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

I have a tweet (grin!) card to share with you today using some DELIGHTFUL new stamps available now from Taylored Expressions, Tweet Hearts!

For my card, I started with the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC123, for the layout. Did you know that you can access all of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenges right HERE on Taylor's Blog?

I started by stamping the branch from Tweet Hearts in Memento Rich Cocoa, and the stamped the leaves in Memento Pear Tart. I stamped the bird twice, once in Colorbox Warm Green and again in Memento Lady Bug. I then cut out the wing and popped it up on Foam Tape. The hearts were also stamped with Memento Lady Bug.

The patterned paper is Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye and I ran the Razzleberry Light panel through the Cuttlebug with the Impressabilities Flowers by Spellbinders. I love how it mimics the flowered patterned paper. All the layers were sewn with my sewing machine.

I added a Jenni Bowlin Vintage Cream Button that I tied with some chocolate linen thread to one corner of my focal panel. I used Rectangle Nestabilities to cut out and emboss the focal panel and Oval Nestabilities and Scallop Oval Nestabilities for the sentiment, "You're So Tweet". Both of these panels were sponged with Memento Canteloupe before removing the dies.

To finish off my card, I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in between each scallop on the border, as well as on the bird's wing! Easy peasy!!

You can check out all of the goodies that are Fresh Out of the Oven right HERE at Taylored Expressions!!

    Thanks SO much for looking!!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Day 2!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!! Today is the second day of sneak peeks for the AMAZING new release from Taylored Expressions! Are you as excited as I am?

Today, the Baker's Dozen are sharing a totally tweet (lol!) set with you, Tweet Hearts!!! This set is SO totally adorable and I can't wait for you to see all of the darling images and sweet sentiments!!

For my card, I started with one of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenges, TESC121. You can see ALL of Taylor's Sketches on her blog HERE...I find them to be such a resource!

I started this card by stamping the branch from Tweet Hearts in Memento Rich Cocoa onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock. I then stamped the birds, leaves and hearts, all from Tweet Hearts, to create the scene. I then cut out and embossed the panel with Circle Nestabilities.

ALL the patterned paper and cardstock on my card is from the Summertime Project Pantry Kit from Taylored Expressions which was released in July! They are still available so grab it while you can! I LOVE this Project Pantry Kit and the patterned paper...Echo Park Summertime Collection.

I sewed each layer on my sewing machine and added some Vanilla brads from my stash in opposite corners. I couldn't resist reaching for the AMAZING new Take Note Frame 3 Taylored Die again for this card, and I used it very simply...I stamped my sentiment, "I {heart} You" from Tweet Hearts, cut it out with the die and attached it so it just peeks out of the vertical panel on the sketch. Easy peasy and I think it gives it such a pop!! Have you seen just how these new dies work? Taylor has a FABULOUS video on her blog HERE...they really are foolproof!

The July Key Ingredients Are Here!!

    Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!!

This is my most favorite time of the month...when the Baker's Dozen gets to share the newest (and FABULOUS) Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions!!

Oh my...I LOVE the July Key Ingredients! I know, I know...I am a broken record right? LOL! It's true though...I ADORE the Key Ingredients and the July KI is just as WONDERFUL as you would expect!

I created two cards with the July Key Ingredients for today, and they both share a theme...Glitter!!! The challenge for this month is to bling it up with glitter! FUN FUN and more FUN! One of my favorite things about the Key Ingredients is that I get to use papers and embellishments that I normally may not have been exposed to! The patterned paper in the July Key Ingredients is Paisley Parade by KI Memories and it is DELISH!

For my first card, I started with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC82. I started by stamping the bicycle, basket and flowers, all from the AWESOME new In The Park set by Taylored Expressions, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock (this is the neutral cardstock included in the July Key Ingredients). I colored all of the images with Copic Markers and added Parisian Mist Glitter (from the July KI) on the bicycle frame as well as the flower centers using the Quickie Glue Pen, also included in the July KI (my FAV glue pen...ever!). The basket of flowers was cut out and popped up with Foam Tape.

I also added some more glitter on a cute little chipboard flower using my Quickie Glue Pen again and added a bow on top of it that I created using the Bow Easy. Do you have one yet? If not, you NEED one...believe me! I sewed each layer on my sewing machine and added the sentiment, also from In The Park, directly onto the patterned paper!

For my second card, I started with the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC120! I started by stamping the car from Feelin' Groovy (can I just tell you how much I ADORE this set?) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.

The back layer of my card was stamped with the FABULOUS new Big Background stamp, Stitched Plaid, in Memento Rose Bud and I LOVE the look of it!

I covered another chipboard flower with glitter and tucked it behind my focal panel. The flowers on the card also got a touch of glitter as well!! stamped the sentiment, also from Feelin' Groovy, directly onto the main panel and once again, used my sewing machine on each layer!

Check out these members of the Baker's Dozen that have samples to share with you today using this AMAZING Key Ingredients!

    Happy Birthday Taylor!!

    ** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR
    MY SFYTT POST **

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!! Today is a VERY special day...it's Taylor's Birthday! Woo Hoo!!!

Quite a few of us have gotten together to celebrate Taylor's Birthday with a Birthday Blog Hop!

For my card for my sweet friend Taylor, I began with her Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge from yesterday, TESC117!

When creating a card for Taylor, I just KNEW it had to have a cupcake! Taylor is the cupcake Queen!!! For my card, I used one of my favorite Taylored Expressions sets, For The Love Of Cupcakes!!

I stamped the stand and cupcake in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock. I then stamped the cupcake again on Choice Buttercream, and then a third time on some Fly A Kite paper from October Afternoon. I colored all of the images with Copic Markers, paper pieced the cupcake liner with the patterned paper, cut it out and popped it up on Foam Tape. I added some Adirondeck Espresso Pearls to the top of the cupcake...YUMMY!

All of the patterned paper on my card is from Fly A Kite by October Afternoon, and I sewed each layer on my sewing machine. I created the scallop border on the bottom with the Apron Lace Punch by Fiskars.

The sentiment, "Wishing you a birthday filled with cupcakes!" is also from For The Love Of Cupcakes, and I just created a little tab for it as per the sketch!

Check out what the rest of the gals have done for Taylor's Birthday here!

    Inch By Inch!

    Life's a cinch!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday! Here is a card I created using last week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC112!

For my card, I using this ADORABLE inch worm from Garden Party Critters, part of the brand new line of stamps at Taylored Expressions illustrated and designed by Taylor herself!!!

I stamped this little guy (I just LOVE him!!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I cut the image out with Circle Nestabilities, sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe and layered it with Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

All the cardstock, patterned paper and ribbon are from the FABULOUS new Garden Party Project Pantry Kit, and the Glittered Brads are also available from Taylored Expressions!! I embossed the yellow cardstock with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, and the sentiment, "Inch by Inch life's a cinch, also from Garden Party Critters, was cut out and embossed with the largest tag in the Tags Trio by Spellbinders. I sponged this to match as well.

This card was SO much fun to make, and it took no time at all considering everything is PEFECTLY coordinated a la Taylor!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

    You're So Sweet!!

    Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card using the Taylored Expression Sketch Challenge from yesterday, TESC110!!!

I LOVE this layout and had SO much fun making this card!!!

I started by cutting out 1 1/4 Squares of the YUMMY Material Girl Collection by Cosmo Cricket. I used alll different patterns from the collection and I LOVE each one of them!!!

I stamped this SUPER cute sewing Cuppie from one of my favorite Cuppie sets, Crafty Cuppie by Taylored Expressions, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers.

I ALWAYS, as a rule, color Cuppie pink, but I went out of my comfort zone on this one and made it a Chocolate Cuppie (YUM!!). The sentiment, "You're So Sweet" is also from Crafty Cuppie, and I cut it out and embossed it with the largest of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders.

I opted to NOT use and ribbon or other embellies on this and just wanted the patterns of the paper to speak for themselves.

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Enjoy your Saturday!
