Hello Gorgeous!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

My recent order from The Cat's Pajamas arrived and I had a chance to get a bit inky this weekend! I thought I'd try my hand at the color challenge from last week's TCP Tuesday!

I have to admit, I could NOT wait to ink up this ADORABLE penguin from the new Got Love set. He is SO super cute, and fun to color too! I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I added some crystal glitter to the hearts, which were "out of the box" when I cut and embossed my panel with Circle Nestabilities.

The patterned paper is Circa 1934 from Cosmo Cricket and I added a border with the Die-Namics Jumbo Ric Rac Die from My Favorite Things. The sentiment, "Hello Gorgeous", also from Got Love, was anchored with two hearts cut from the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die, also from My Favorite Things. A bit of bakers twine and some black Taylor's Tiny Twinkles finish this one off!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! I will be adding this cutie to my Etsy Store!

  9. Ohhh Jodi this is SUPER cute!!!!! I love how you left the balloons hanging over the edge. I have to try that technique. I finally picked up a cantelope ink pad and tried to play with the sponaging like you did and it didn't work. *sad face* I need more practice or something. Any helpful hints?
