MFT Greatest Hits: Valentines!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!!

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge will be a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme or product.

This month, we asked the team to get creative for Valentine's Day. It's a great occasion to get crafty, and put your supplies to good use. Are you ready to get some ideas for your Valentine's Day gifts? Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of participants to see everything from cards to gift ideas and everything between.

Of course, since my first love is cardmaking, that I what I have created for today! I've used last week's MFT Sketch, MFTWSC1, again for my layout. I LOVE this sketch!!

I started by stamping this SUPER adorable Pure Innocence Love You With All My Heart (currently being restocked...I am certain she will be back soon!)in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card (LOVE this paper!) and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out and embossed her with Oval Nestabilities and sponged the edges for some interest.

I added a little heart that I cut using the Die-namics Hearts A Plenty Die (LOVE this!). The patterned paper is all from Be My Valentine from We R Memory Keepers, and the little notebook page is also from this collection. I stamped the "I love you" sentiment right on it.

For the inside, I finished off the sentiment with "with all my heart". MFT sets come with so many sentiments, it's easy peasy to finish off the inside of the card using them! I had to add a border using the Die-Namics Little Open Scallop Strip Die...love this one too!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!! I hope you will be inspired to create some Valentines of your own after visiting all the gals today!
