**This is my second post today! Please scroll down just a tad for my MFT post! Thanks!**
Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!
I am SOOOOOO excited that today is the first day of previews for the latest release from Taylored Expressions! I can't wait for you all to see the amazing-ness that Taylor has in store for this release! It's HUGE!
Today, the Baker's Dozen are sharing previews of a few different sets with you, and I have the pleasure of introducing you to Rest & Renewal! This is a BEAUTIFUL set in the Lasting Impressions line @ TE and coordinates beautifully with another gorgeous set being previewed today, New Beginnings, which was concepted by our very own Sankari and illustrated by Taylor!!
Now, I am certain you can tell, I tried to channel a bit of Sankari on my card today!! I started with an older collection of papers, Perhaps by Basic Grey (remember this one? I thought it went SO well with these new sets), and stamped the gorgeous Psalm in Memento Tuxedo Black onto on of the Perhaps patterns and then cut it out with the new Frame It Up 1 Die (also being released on Friday). I then embossed it with the previously released Scallops & Circles Impression Plate (I LOVE this!).
I added, a la Sankari, TONS of Liquid Pearls all around the frame. LOVE the look of this! Using some more patterned paper, I stamped some of the butterflies from New Beginnings in Versamark and embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder. I then cut them out using the AMAZING new Butterflies Dies and attached them around the frame.
I added some machine stitching and a nice big bow that I created with the Bow Easy! All of the elements are popped up with Foam Tape. A SUPER easy card to make...and I LOVE the finished look!
Here are the Taylored Dies and Impression Plate I've used on my card today!
