Hi everyone! Happy Monday!
I am the Trendsetter of the Week over at the There She Goes Blog! Head on over and check out this week's challenge, TSG97, Get Krafty!
I LOVE Kraft cardstock...even though I resisted it for SO long! I thought it would be fun to see what everyone comes up with using this stamping staple!I am the Trendsetter of the Week over at the There She Goes Blog! Head on over and check out this week's challenge, TSG97, Get Krafty!
For my card, I wanted to go with a more shabby chic/vintage look...a style that I do NOT do all that often!
I pulled out the GORGEOUS Sweet Pea set from There She Goes and got to work. For a bit of a change, I stamped the flowers directly onto Kraft cardstock and colored the image with Copic Markers. I just LOVE the soft look of this!
I cut out and embossed my focal panel with Rectangle Nestabilities, created a frame with my Copic Multliner and added two pearls in a little opening I left. The sentiment, Many Thanks, is from Sentimental Thank You, also from There She Goes and I layered it with Circle Nestabilities and then attached it to my focal panel.
The patterned paper is from Jillibean Soup Chilled Strawberry Collection (which is all Kraft by the way) and I added a fun die cut element using the Die-Namics Dizzy Doily Die from MFT. The Melon Berry cardstock panel was embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.
I added a touch of lace and a button tied with twine for a more shabby feel. I have to admit, I seriously love how this one came out!
We'd love you to play along with us...head on over to the TSG Blog for all the details!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
