Hello My Friend...and Hello April SFYTT!

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN A SMIDGE FOR MY MFTEASER. THANKS!**

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! Today is the day...are you excited for the April SFYTT? I cannot even believe we are in April...where in the world is this year going!

This month's sketch is sponsored by Unity Stamp Company! SO exciting!! I had the pleasure of working with the Hello My Friend Itty Bitty set. What a fun little stamp set!

I stamped the heart/flowers three times onto Choice Buttercream and once on a piece of patterned paper. I used Stella & Rose Gertie from My Minds Eye on this card, and chose a pink pattern to use for the heart. I paper pieced it and before adhering the patterned paper, I sponged it a bit with Memento Potters Clay for some definition.

The flowers were colored with Copic Markers, cut out and then popped up on foam tape. The orange flower is popped up once, the yellow flower twice. I then added a Swarovsi Crystal to the center of the yellow flower. I cut out and embossed the panel with Square Nestabilities, added a frame around the edge with a Copic Multliner, and then sponged the edges with Memento Cantaloupe & Memento Tangelo. I left a space in the frame for two more Swarovski Crystals.

Ignore my sentiment panel please! That is SO not part of the sketch (sorry Jen!), but I had no where else to add a sentiment so I had to add an extra teeny tiny little panel. Two of the different patterns of paper were embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing Folder for a little more texture. I also added three more Swarovski Crystals on the bottom of the card.

Check out what my super talented SFYTT sisters have done with this sketch, and to see more samples using images from Unity Stamp Company right here:
