Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!
I was SO excited when I saw that my friend Corinna started a new challenge blog, the Ribbon Carousel Challenge! SO many of my friends on her on team, I couldn't not play along! My card is for this week's challenge, RCC2, to go Shabby Chic and use that seam binding, lace, etc! SO fun!
I started with this week's Mojo Monday sketch, MOJO190, and I immediately pulled out the fabulous Angel Mail set from There She Goes. I LOVE the sentiments in this set...they are so uplifting!
The patterned paper is Lime Twist Go Fly A Kite from My Minds Eye (LOVE) and I embossed the Kraft panel with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment, "The only courage that matters is the kind that gets you from one moment to the next" and cut it out and embossed it with Labels 9 Nestabilities and I then sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand.
I added some yummy lace and then some DELISH seam binding (I got a deal on Etsy...now I have a whole drawer full!) and a big bow. I even went SUPER shabby chic (well, for me anyway) and added a Little Whimsies flower to the bow as well. I added some pearls to the focal panel, as well as to all four corners and called it done!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!
