Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge,and this week, Lisa has challenged us to use dark teal,rust and cream! Delish!!!

Print

I had SO much fun creating my card today, and I was THRILLED to see that Julee Tilman has brought back the Mojo Monday Challenge! YAY! I used the new sketch, MOJOSKETCH501, for my card! I began by cutting this sweet deer from Persimmon Prestige Card Stock using the Delightful Deer Die-namics. I lightly sponged him with Persimmon Premium Dye Ink, and added some white accents using a White Gel Pen. His antlers were cut from Hot Fudge Card Stock, and once he was assembled, I popped him up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Primitive White Card Stock cut using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

The main panel was cut from Natural Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I then added a strip of patterned paper from the Fresh Squeezed Chevron Paper Pack. I cut a rectangle of Primitive White Card Stock using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I stamped “joy” from Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings using Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. All of the panels were lightly sponged with Kraft Premium Dye Ink for a soft look. I added the rectangle panel with Foam Tape, and then wrapped the card with Hemp Cord. I then added the focal panel, using more Foam Tape, and finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots and a bow of Hemp Cord.

Cow’s It Going? {CTD399}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Vickie has challenged us to use Chocolate, Pale Yellow, Red and Kraft!  LOVE!

Print

For my card today, I used the current MOJO Monday Sketch Challenge, MOJO454, for the layout.  The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was cut using Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I cut a circle from the County Fair Paper Pack using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and placed it in the corner.

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and behind that, added a flag of Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock cut using the Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.  I stamped “COW’S IT GOING” (Lol) from Green Pastures using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.

I used the Green Pastures Die-namics to cut out my little farm girl from X-Press It Blending Card and stamped her using Green Pastures using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I then cut the cow from X-Press It Blending Card using The Whole Herd Die-namics and stamped him using The Whole Herd using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I colored them both with Copic Markers and then popped them up with Jody Boosters onto the rectangle panel.  I added a bow of Hemp Cord topped off with a button to finish my card.

Thank You For Brightening My Day! {CTD384}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown, and this week, for CTD384, Barbara is hosting and has a lovely color combo…lavender, red and green!  I’ve paired this week’s Color Throwdown with the current Mojo Monday Challenge, MOJO439!

Print

I started with the main panel, which I cut from Sweet Tooth Card Stock using Blueprints 27 Die-namics.  This panel is EVERYTHING.  I LOVE these new Blueprints!  I used the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics to cut a panel of paper from the Tranquil Textures Paper Pack. LOVE.  I used another pattern from this pack for the horizontal panel, which I trimmed down using Blueprints 27 Die-namics so that the scalloped edges match up.

I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Stitched Mini Scallop Circle STAX Die-namics and stamped “THANK YOU” and “for brightening my day” from LJD Spring Wreath using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  The flower was cut using Blueprints 12 Die-namics from Cherry Crisp Prestige Card Stock and the leaves were cut from Dill Pickle Prestige Card Stock.

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, for CTD373, we are using any combination of Christmas colors to create a Christmas card!  SO much fun!

I’ve used the current Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, MOJO428, for the layout!  The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was cut using Blueprints 13 Die-namics, which I also used to cut a pattern from the Fresh Squeezed Chevron Paper Pack.  I added a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock cut with the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics.  I used the Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock.  I stamped the panel using Sno Cone Card Stock with the Candy Stripes Background Builder.  I then stamped “THE NICE LIST”, from BB Jingle All The Way using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink (the full sentiment is “You’re On The Nice List” but I only inked the portion I wanted to use).

I cut Santa from X-Press It Blending Card using the BB Jingle All The Way Die-namics and stamped him using BB Jingle All The Way using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I colored him with Copic Markers and added shimmer to his hat and pom pom using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.  I popped him up with Jody Boosters and then added a bow of Hemp Cord to the top of the nice list, topped off with a button.
