Hi everyone! Happy Monday!
Today is the fourth day of Teasers for the newest My Favorite Things release!!! I have two cards to share with you today so let's get started!
I LOVE this new set from Claire Keay, You Had Met At Woof. I can't wait for CraftyMathChick to see this set...it's right up her alley! I stamped this ADORABLE image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. Her coat was paper pieced with the same papers I used on the card, Happily Lost from Lily Bee Designs. I cut out a heart from one of the patterns using the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die, and stamped my sentiment, "You had me at woof" right on it. I added a little button created with the Die-Namics Button Quartet Die, with a bow of Baker's Twine, right on top.
For the inside, I added more of the same patterned paper, and then just stamped the little pup in silhouette. Another heart created with the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die, stamped with "I woof you" completes this one.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
My second card today features an AWESOME new set called Just My Type. I had a BLAST creating this card! I started by stamping the typwriter onto Fossil Cardstock and cut it out using the Die-Namics Just My Type Die. I then used the same die again and cut out a piece of patterned paper from Stella & Rose Mabel, and then stamped the sentiment "A little message for you". I curled it a bit and then attached it to the typewriter. LOVE it!
I kept the layout super simple so that the typewrite could take center stage. I used more of the same papers and created a border with the Die-Namics Scalloped Scallop Die. I added some yummy teal seam binding and a stick pin, added tons of machine stitching and then finished it off with a vintage brad in each corner.
I kept the inside super simple as well, with more of the same patterned paper, tons of stitching and a simple "Happy Birthday" sentiment.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
