Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!! Today is one of my most favorite My Favorite Things teaser days...Pure Innocence Teasers! Woot! There are SO many adorable new Pure Innocence sets being released on Tuesday, Lily of the Valley, Roll With It, Skater Boy, Pucker Up and Fresh From The Oven! WOW-ser!
I have two cards to share with you today! My first card features the supremely adorable Pure Innocence Fresh From The Oven! I stamped her and colored her with Copic Markers. Her hat and apron were paper pieced with one of the same patterns I've used on the card, Hometown Summer from Pink Paislee. Before adhering the pieced pieces, I sponged them with Memento Potters Clay for some definition. I love the look it achieves. I cut out and embossed the focal panel with Petite Oval Nestabilities.
I added a border of patterned paper with my beloved Die-Namics Simply Scallops Die, and added a layered flower cut with my most favorite Die-Namics Die to date, Die-Namics Pretty Posies! In the center, I added a sweet button cut with the Die-Namics Button Quartet and tied it with a bit of Baker's Twine. I created a little sentiment flag for the sentiment, "Freshly Made For You" and added tons of machine stitching.
For the inside, I added more of the same patterned paper and another border cut with the Die-Namics Simply Scallops Die. I finished off the sentiment with "Just for You" stamped all the way to one side in order to leave room for a personal message.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:
My second card today features the simply delightful Pure Innocence Roll With It! This set is SO fun...it totally reminds me of going roller skating when I was a kid! I can barely walk without tripping over myself, but I was pretty snazzy on my skates ;)
I stamped this cutie onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers. I used my Clear Glaze Pen on her helmet, elbow and knee pads to make them extra shiny. I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and then, using a Copic Multliner, drew in the frame. I did leave a bit of space so that I could add two pink Twinkles.
The patterned paper is all from Little Girl by Echo Park Papers, and I used the heart pattern to paper piece her shirt. I think I had a shirt just like that back in the day. I added a double border of the same patterned paper with the Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die and wrapped the top with some twine.
Once again, I anchored my sentiment flag, which reads "This is how I roll" with a flower/button combo created with the Die-Namics Pretty Posies and Die-Namics Button Quartet Dies. I told you I was obsessed didn't I?
For the inside of my card, I used the Die-Namics Sweet Stack Labels again. On the circle panel I stamped this cutie's face again, in Pink Passion ink, and added another sentiment on top, "Skating by to say Hi!". LOVE that! Some more stitching and Baker's Twine finish this one off.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
