Green Acres: Blog Candy Day #2

Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday!

Today is Day #2 of my 3 day Blog Candy-arama!!!  WOOT!!!

I have had the pleasure of being on the Baker's Dozen, the design team for Taylored Expressions, for over two years now and I have loved every minute of it!  I just ADORE all of my TE stamps (especially Cuppie!!), but as of right this second...well I am totally in LOVE with the fabulous new Green Acres set!!! 

This set is chock full of DARLING images and hysterical, punny sentiments!   So...up for grabs today is a FAB new Green Acres set!  WOOT!!!  Of course, I made a card to go with the set :)

I started with this week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC337, for the layout.  I love the big focal panel on this sketch, and it was perfect for what I had in mind!  The patterned paper is all from Lime Twist Out Of The Blue from My Minds Eye and I even used the gingham pattern to create to rolling hills.  I attached them directly to the cloud patterned paper and then added some stitching.  I stamped and colored the cows with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out and popped them up with Foam Tape.  I used the Cloud Duo Die to create the clouds.  I LOVE the sentiment, "sorry it's pasture birthday"...it totally cracks me up, and I stamped it on the bottom portion of my card.  Lots of wonky stitching finishes it off!

    Adorable! Love the cloud paper with the "rolling hills" gingham paper...so cute! I love this stamp set...my daughter, Emma, loves horses and thinks the horse in this set is soooo cute! WOOT! WOOT!

    I am almost mooooved to tears laughing at this card! Holy cow bells, this just struck me funny! I don't think they actually wear cow bells any more here in Iowa though. This would be such a great card to purposely miss a birthday! Love all the details, cream of the crop, from the clouds to the hills! Thanks for sharing this with us. I gotta go check out the rest of the set now. Sorry, I had to milk all the puns for all they are worth! Must be an Iowa thing since I don't live on a farm.     My husband is a farmer - so this set would be perfect for me. I see it is already sold out - so I will have to wait for it come back in stock. Your card is "right on".
