My Little Friend: Blog Candy Day #3

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!!

Today is the last day of my Three Days of Blog Candy!!  Have you commented on my FIRST and SECOND days of candy yet?  There is still time to throw your hat in for a chance!!

Today's candy is a DARLING set from There She Goes!  I have been a Trendsetter for There She Goes for over two years now, and I just LOVE TSG stamps!  The best part of being a Trendsetter isn't the stamps though...it's the fabulous friendships I have made, especially with owner extraordinaire, Jessica Knutsen!  Love that girl!!

Up for grabs is the ADORABLE (and hysterical) set, My Little Friend!  This set is HUGE...it contains a total of 31 stamps and was illustrated by the super talented (and super sweet) Torico! 

For my card today, I started with the June SFYTT.  LOVE this sketch (and if you haven't submitted yours yet, you have until the end of the month to do so!).  You can get all the deets about the June SFYTT right HERE on Jen's Blog!

I stamped this ADORABLE gnome in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.  I then cut him out and embossed the panl with Circle Nestabilities.   All of the patterned paper is Lime Twist Out Of The Blue from My Minds Eye, and the sentiment, "To gnome me is to love me" (lol) was cut out and embossed with Petite Oval Nestabilities and placed atop criss crossed Baker's Twine.  I added tons of machine stitching (now that my machine has started to behave again!).

Green Acres: Blog Candy Day #2

Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday!

Today is Day #2 of my 3 day Blog Candy-arama!!!  WOOT!!!

I have had the pleasure of being on the Baker's Dozen, the design team for Taylored Expressions, for over two years now and I have loved every minute of it!  I just ADORE all of my TE stamps (especially Cuppie!!), but as of right this second...well I am totally in LOVE with the fabulous new Green Acres set!!! 

This set is chock full of DARLING images and hysterical, punny sentiments!   So...up for grabs today is a FAB new Green Acres set!  WOOT!!!  Of course, I made a card to go with the set :)

I started with this week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC337, for the layout.  I love the big focal panel on this sketch, and it was perfect for what I had in mind!  The patterned paper is all from Lime Twist Out Of The Blue from My Minds Eye and I even used the gingham pattern to create to rolling hills.  I attached them directly to the cloud patterned paper and then added some stitching.  I stamped and colored the cows with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out and popped them up with Foam Tape.  I used the Cloud Duo Die to create the clouds.  I LOVE the sentiment, "sorry it's pasture birthday"...it totally cracks me up, and I stamped it on the bottom portion of my card.  Lots of wonky stitching finishes it off!

Own Your Story: Blog Candy Day #1!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!

I must admit...I don't even know when my Blogaversary is, but I know this...I have the best stampy friends and readers ever...I just ADORE you all!  I think it's time for some Blog Candy...what do you think?

Here is how it's going to work.  I am not doing one day of blog candy, nor am I doing two days of blog candy.  I am going to go with THREE days of blog candy!  Can I get a WOOT???

For each of the three days, I will be giving away a stamp set from each of the stamp companies I am blessed and honored to design for! 

Today is My Favorite Things day!!  Can I get a WOOT WOOT???  My Favorite Things is well, one of my favorite things!

It's certainly no secret that I LOVE and ADORE each and every set that MFT releases (and to be quite honest, I am still pinching myself that I am on this amazing team), but one of my all time favorites has to be the gorgeous Own Your Story...which, of course, is accompanied by the Four Point Frame Die-Namics...which, coincidentally (wink wink) is the prize up for grabs today!!

Of course, I decided to create a card with this set while I was at it!  I started with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch, MOJO195.  All of the patterned papers are from Hello Luscious from Basic Grey and I added lots of sponging.  I also used TONS of Die-Namics (oh how I LOVE Die-Namics) on this one as well. 

The borders were created with the Stacked Open Scallops Die-Namics (currently being restocked), the Four Point Frame Die-Namics anchors my focal point, and it's adorned with circles from Sweet Stack Label Die-Namics and First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.  I also used one of the banners from First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics for the click clack sentiment.  I added a cluster of flowers created with the Flower and Leaf Trio Die-Namics as well.  YUM!!
