MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Friday!  WOOT!  It's time for MFTeasers!  Are you as excited as I am!?  (Wow...I really overuse the exclamation point don't I?).

I have TWO sets that I am sharing with you today that are being released on the 7th from My Favorite Things, so let's get right to it!

First up is everyone's favorite (well, certainly my favorite!) bear, Fred!  This month we have Fred Bear Well Done!  LOVE him!  I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored him with Copic Markers.  The patterned paper is Seaside from October Afternoon, and I used the AMAZING new Simply Scallops Large Die-Namics with some Cork to create the border.  The card base was created with Wild Cherry Cardstock.  YUM.

The sentiment, "Flippin' Fabulous", totally makes me smile, and I cut it out with Circle Nestatbilities and then cut out the cork layer with Scallop Circle Nestabilities.  TONS of machine stitching complete the front.

For the inside, I stamped a portion of Fred in Not Quite Navy ink and then added another sentiment from the set, "Well Done".  LOVE that!  More stitching and Viola!

My second card today features the AH-mazing new First Place Award Ribbon Set and coordinating Blue Ribbon Die-Namics.  Oh.My.Goodness.  I totally ♥ this set!!!

There are SO many stamps in this set...which means SO many options for the ribbon!  I chose to make a card for my Meredith (shocking, I know) and create a "Best Big Sister Ever" award for her!  After I made this I realized that I should have added a pin backing to it so she could proudly wear it...I better get on that!  The card base is the delish Bubblegum Cardstock!

Instead of making the bottom portion of the Blue Ribbon Die-Namics out of paper, I chose to use it with My Favorite Felt in Strawberry Ice Cream!  I cut out four of them, folded them in half and then layered them on top of one another, attaching them with a hot glue gun.  It's super poofy, which I like :)

The patterned paper is Lime Twist, Life of the Party, from My Minds Eye, and I added a border on either side of the chevron stripe pattern with another new (and totally AWESOME) Die-Namics Die...the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics.  LOVE LOVE LOVE.  Tons of stitching and some white candy dots finish off the front.

There are SO many stamps in this set, it would be criminal to not show off some more on the inside!  I stamped the stars in three different colors and then added "Most Thoughtful".  More patterned paper and stitching complete this.

I am happy to report that Meredith LOVES this card!  I must say, she really is a WONDERFUL big sister and is a very thoughtful little girl!  I am blessed for sure!
