Hi everyone! Happy Monday and Happy Fourth Of July!
Today is the 4th day of MFTeasers for the new release from My Favorite Things, which will be available tomorrow night! WOOT!
I have two more new sets to share with you today! First up is the DARLING new Perfect Pinwheel, which, of course, has it's own Perfect Pinwheel Die-Namics! LOVE!!! This card was SUPER simple to create...I let the pinwheel do all the work!
I cut the pinwheel twice using some Hip Hip Hooray papers from My Minds Eye and assembled the pinwheel using a silver brad to attach all the panels. I used a Fossill background and added some wonky (on purpose) stitching all around. I added a dowel to my pinwheel with some hot glue and then, using one of the banners from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics, created a little panel for my "Give It A Whirl" sentiment, which I wrapped around the dowel. Three silver brads in the top corner are the only other accent. The delish color of the card base is Berrylicious...love!
For the inside, I added some more wonky stitching along with another sentiment from this set, "It's Your Turn To Make A Difference". Simple? yes, but I love it!
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:
My second card today features a gorgeous new set in the Inspired By lineup, Inspired By Summer! SO beautiful! I love the look of images stamped and colored on kraft, so I started with some Fossil Cardstock and stamped the tree in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers.
All of the patterned paper is from It's The Little Things from Fancy Pants Designs, and I added a double scallop border with the Jumbo Scallops Die-Namics. I embossed the background and added tons of stitching and some lace, along with three antique brads. The sentiment was cut out with the circle from the First Place Ribbon Award Die-Namics and layerd with the circle from Sweet Stack Labels Die-Namics.
I kept the inside simple again, and stamped the tree onto the Fossil panel along with another sentiment from the set.
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

ReplyDeleteadore the pinwheel card - but I am wondering how the heck you mail something like that and some of the other cards that you create?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. Your pinwheel is perfect.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I adore the pinwheel card, and the new pinwheel die, I don't think I'd ever put it on a card; I have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to 'too much bulk' on a card. Mine are getting harder and harder to mail as it is with the big prima flowers and buttons, etc.
ReplyDeleteThe tree card is my FAVORITE! OMG I love how you stamped it on kraft and your coloring. What a gorgeous card!
