MFTeasers: Day Five!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!  Today is the last day of MFTeasers as the big My Favorite Things July release is tonight!  Yippee!!

I do have one more teaser though for you...Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy.  What a beautiful set this is...the sentiments are just so perfect to bring comfort during a difficult time of loss.  For my card today, I started with some new papers I purchased...Journey by Authentique.  I hadn't heard of this company before seeing these paper pads at my LSS...they are a test store for this brand.  I really love these papers, and the colors were perfect for what I wanted to do today.

I stamped the sentiment, "Our Thoughts And Prayers Are With You" and cut it out with Circle Nestabilities.  Behind it I added cardstock cut with the new Dizzy Doily Duo Die-Namics (the larger of the two dies) and then cut another panel with the original Dizzy Doily Die-Namics (currently being restocked) and layered them together.  I just LOVE the elegant look of them like this.  I sponged around the focal panel a bit with Basic Grey ink...although it did come out splotchier than I would have liked.

Using My Favorite Felt in Puff Cloud White, I created a trio of rolled roses and I used the Rolled Rose Die-Namics, the Mini Rolled Roses Die-Namics AND the brand new Large Rolled Rose Die-Namics.  LOVE the size variation of these!  I added two flourishes cut with the Leafy Flourish Die-Namics and then added a pearl on the center of each flower as well as above the sentiment.  I also used the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics.

For the inside, I added some more of the same paper, and then added another sentiment from this set, "I am Sorry For You Loss".  I added two pearls in varying sizes on either side of the sentiment, and added another border created with the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics.  Tons of machine stitching on both the front and inside complete this one.
