Ticket To My Heart!

It's week 34 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fun sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC34!

OK...I must admit, these angled panels scared me a bit...LOL!!  BUT, I gave it a shot and I LOVE this sketch!  SO super fun!!  For my card, I pulled out the ever adorable Pure Innocence Popping By.  She was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic Markers and then "fussy cut" out.  I popped her up with Jody Boosters onto a tag cut with the Tag You're It Die-Namics Die.

All of the patterned paper is Rosy from My Minds Eye (Lost and Found 2), which I LOVE.  I used two different patterns on my tag, and then another pattern for my background.  I added a scallop border vertically, as well as on my tag, cut with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics, and I added some Charcoal Twine to the top of the tag.

So, my sweet PI girl/tag combo is one of the angled panels, and for the other I simply cut a piece of Black Licorice Cardstock with the Mini Film Strip Die-Namics.  LOVE that!  I added a fun little sentiment panel with the Just The Ticket Die-Namics and stamp set, opting for the "Ticket to my heart" sentiment.  I didn't stamp the word "heart", but rather cut an actual heart from My Favorite Felt in A Cherry On Top cut with the Notched Tag Die-Namics.  Three brads on the bottom corner finish off the front.

For the inside, I kept it rather simple.  I added another piece of patterned paper, another border cut with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics, as well as some more Charcoal Twine.  The sentiment, "You Always Pop Into My Thoughts" is also from Pure Innocence Popping By.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC34 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, August 30 to play along.  Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
