Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!! The first Saturday of the month means a new Sketch For You To Try! Meet September's sketch:
This month, the SFYTT sisters are sponsored by the fabulous Skipping Stones Design! Yippee! They have such gorgeous stamp sets from elegant to funny! For my card today, I worked with the beautiful Healing Wings set!
I started by choosing my papers, and with an abundance of new My Minds Eye in the house (lol), I chose Breeze from Lost and Found Two. Delish. After choosing my patterns, I stamped the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers (BG10, BG11, BG13, BG15 and BG18 in case you are interested) and then cut it out. I added some Glitter Ritz Glitter in Cool Highlight and I love how super sparkly it is. I popped it up on Jody Boosters onto two layered panels cut with the Dizzy Doily Duo Die-Namics from MFT.
The sentiment, "Live the life of your dreams" was stamped onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics, also from MFT. The Fossil background was embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder and I added silver brads to the top and bottom. The corners of the patterned paper panels were rounded with my Corner Chomper.
Head on over and check out what my fabulous SFYTT sisters have created with this sketch today!
and our September Guest Designer, Alyssa Scritchfield!!
