Taylored Expressions Previews: Day Two!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

I am back today with the second day of Taylored Expressions Previews!  YAY!

OK...I have to just tell you...the set I am sharing with you today just may be my favorite set from this release!  Take a gander at the ADORABLE new Love Shack!  This sweet set is the first in a series concepted by our very own Jami Sibley and illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink line at Taylored Expressions.  LOVE this!  This adorable abode can be used for SO many occassions!  

For my card today, I went Valentine's Day all the way!  While I was coloring the house, I was a bit concerned at the colors I was using, as I based them all on the patterned paper I chose, Love Struck from We R Memory Keepers.  Once I was done...I fell in LOVE with how it came out!  I hope you like it as well!

I stamped the house in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I then stamped the trees twice...once onto Choice Snow White and once again onto patterned paper, and then paper pieced the tree tops.  I love how they came out!  I masked the house and then airbrushed the sky with my Copic Airbrush System.  I added two clouds cut with the Cloud Duo Taylored Dies.  

Behind the focal panel I added a border cut with the Picket Fence Taylored Die, and I added a simple sentiment tab with the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment.  I also added lots of stitching with my Janome Sew Mini, and of course, popped up all the elements with Foam Tape for lots of dimension.
