Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! Today is the first day of MFTeasers for the March release at MFT! YAY!!! Today I am sharing the new WTG set with you...Puddle Jumper! Isn't she SO fun??? I LOVE when WTG is in a circle!
I stamped her and then cut out the panel with Circle Nestabilities. I then layered this panel over one cut from Wild Cherry Cardstock using the Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-Namics (the larger of the two). I colored the cement, puddle and her skin with Copic Markers and then paper pieced her raincoat, boots and skirt with the same papers I've used on my card, On The Bright Side One from My Minds Eye.
My layout is Jen's Deconstructed Sketch, DS40, and for the horizontal flag panel, I used the Mix & Match Banners Die-Namics, and just elongated the panel. The sentiment, "Even On Rainy Days Your Smile Is Like Sunshine" was stamped onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics, and I shortened it a bit to fit the sentiment. I added some yummy ribbon and adorned the bow with a flower cut with the new Royal Rose Die-Namics (swoon!). Lots of stitching and some bling on her raincoat complete the front.
Here is a closeup of the Royal Rose Die-Namics flower. LOVE it!
And here is a closeup of her paper pieced raincoat and denim skirt. Love that little skirt!
On the inside I've added more patterned paper and another sentiment from WTG Puddle Jumper, "Thank You For Showering Me With Love". SO sweet no? Lots of stitching and the inside is done!
Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
