Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!
Today I have another page of my Desktop Calendar to share with you as part of the Taylored Expressions Calendar Challenge! I had so much fun creating this! There are lots of fabulous of calendar products available HERE at Taylored Expressions....we'd love you to play along...Taylor's blog has all the deets!
Although I am not Irish, and I made this for my Mom, who isn't Irish either, I feel as though we are all Irish in March, especially since my hubs is 100% Irish! I pulled out the delightful Wreath Of Luck, which is just one of the seasonal wreaths available from Taylored Expressions! It's a piece of cake (or Irish Soda Bread? LOL) to create a fabulous wreath when you use the coordinating Seasonal Wreath Taylored Die!
I stamped the wreath in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and cut it out with the Seasonal Wreath Taylored Die. I sponged the edges a bit for some definition and colored the shamrocks with Copic Markers. I layered this panel on top of a piece of green cardstock that I cut out with the Layered Doily Medium Taylored Die using Foam Tape. I LOVE how these two look layered together! I added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in between each scallop on the doily for a bit of pop.
I cut a piece of Choice Snow White Cardstock with the Fly Your Flag 2 Taylored Die and sponged the edges again to match the wreath. I stamped, "Eat, Drink and Be" in Memento Tuxedo Black and then "Irish" in Memento Cottage Ivy. I added two shamrocks cut with the Tiny Toppers Taylored Die to either side of the sentiment and adorned them with more Taylor's Tiny Twinkles. I know I say this alot, but using Embellie Gellie to place these in glue makes it SO easy. Love that stuff. I finished this off with a big ol' bow created with The Bow Easy, and stamped the shamrock from Wreath Of Luck in Memento Cottage Ivy onto the 17th of the month, St. Patrick's Day!
Here is a closer look at the focal image.
Here are the Taylored Dies I've used today:
