April MFT Creative Challenge!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

It's time for the MFT Design Team Creative Challenge!  This is a monthly feature where we challenge our Design Team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique.  This month, it's "All About Mom"!

For my card today I started with the April SFYTT for the layout.  I thought that the darling Pure Innocence Spa Day would make a great card for any Mom...I think we all need a bit of pampering!  I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  I then added some Sparkly Fluff to the robe edging, belt and pocket for extra texture...I love how that came out!

I then fussy cut her out and popped her up onto two layered circles cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.   I added some paper piercing around the inner circle panel.  I used the AMAZING new Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics for the vertical panel.  LOVE these new STAX!

I created the flower trio with the gorgeous Fringed Perennial Die-Namics, and then added leaves cut with the Royal Leaves Die-Namics.  I added some bling to the center of each flower.  The sentiment, "Take Time For You" was stamped onto a panel cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics.  Here is a closeup of the flowers:

Here is a closeup of her super fluffy robe:

On the inside I added a Kraft panel embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder, and I stamped this little sweetie again onto a Sno Cone panel, and then added another sentiment, "Relax and Unwind".  I think I am going to give this to Meredith to give me for Mother's Day, making sure she tells Daddy to add a Spa Gift Certificate!  LOL!!

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative project ideas for you today!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!
