Keep Your Goals In Mind {MFTWSC69}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  It's week 69 of our WSC Getting Sketchy (April 25 - May 1). We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC69!

I had ALOT of fun with this week's sketch, and I think I'll be using this one again!  I created a card and tag set for my oldest, Meredith, who is playing soccer!

I've used Pure Innocence I Get A Kick Out Of You on both of these and they are colored with Copic Markers after stamping them on X Press It Blending Card.  The patterned paper on both is Loyal by Authentique and I used Kraft Cardstock and Sweet Tooth Cardstock for the card base and layers.  Have I mentioned how much I ADORE MFT Cardstock?

I just LOVE her sweet expression and rosy cheeks.  My Meredith always rocks pigtails too, so I think my little soccer star is going to love this.   After popping her up with Jody Boosters onto the rectangle panel I drew in some grass with Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment, "Keep Your Goals In Mind" was stamped onto a panel cut and then layered with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

I used the Banner Day Alphabet to stamp Meredith's number onto her jersey.  Too fun no?  I also used the fabulous Chevron Stripes Die-Namics to add a bit more of a design element to my card.

On the inside I've added more patterned paper and more chevrons, along with another sentiment, "I Get A Kick Out Of You"....and I sure do!

While I was at it, I decided to make her a tag to hang on her soccer bag.  I used the Tag You're It Die-Namics for the tag base, and then cut circles from patterned paper and cardstock with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

I cut out a panel with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics for her name, and stamped it with the Mini Banner Day Alphabet.  Once I had her name stamped, I shortened the panel so that her name was centered.  I tied the tag with a bit of Flax Twine.

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on this set:

And here are the Die-Namics I've used:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Have you missed any sketches along the way? Print out all the sketches HERE.  Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC69 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, May 1st to play along.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!   Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of all the designers working with this sketch today!   I will be back later to add in a picture of my little soccer star.  I meant to do it last night when I started my post but had to run to the hospital to see my grandmother (don't even ask...it's been a rough few days!).
