MFTeasers: Day One!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday and welcome to Day One of MFTeasers!  Just like each and every month, My Favorite Things has a fabulous release in store for you!  Let's get started!

I have two new sets to share with you today, and first up is the darling new You A-mews Me!  LOVE this sweet new set!  I stamped this cutie onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  I cut out the focal panel, and a layer for it, with the new Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  YAY!  LOVE these!  All of the patterned paper is 2wenty Thre3e from Cosmo Cricket.

I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics for the flag panel, and Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics to cut out and layer the sentiment panel.  I added two borders using the new Squiggle Border Die-Namics...so fun!  A bit of twine was wrapped around the card before attaching the sentiment panel.

Here is a closeup of my coloring on this sweetie.  LOVE this new set!  I have four cats so I am a sucker for any kitty image!

On the inside I added more of the same patterned paper and another sentiment, "Wishing You A Purrfect Birthday".  The card base is Bubblegum Cardstock and I used Sweet Tooth Cardstock for all the white layers, including the rectangle panel behind the focal panel.

Since we just had our MFT Design Team Creative Chat all about Copic Markers (you can see my post HERE), I thought I'd start something new and share the Copics I've used on each card.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

Next up I have a card to share with you using the super fun new Who's That Girl Plays Golf!  Isn't this such a great image?  I stamped it on X Press It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers.  I did paper piece her shirt, pants and glove using the same papers I've used on the rest of the card, Delightful from Authentique.  The sentiment was stamped onto a panel cut and layered with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

I've used the new Mini Scallop Edge Die-Namics to create the two borders.  Love the sweet little detail it adds!

Here is a closer look at the image.  You can see that I have layered the focal panel on top of another panel, and this was cut with the new Vertical Greetings 2 Die-Namics, which you'll see more of later on during the week.  I added some fun Basic Grey buttons to the top and bottom for more interest.

On the inside I've added more patterned paper along with another sentiment, "Have A Tee-riffic Day".  Super fun no?  The card base is Kraft Cardstock and I've also used Bubblegum and Sweet Tooth for the layers.

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on this card:
