Hi everyone!! Happy Friday!!
Here is a card I made for my cousin who is expecting twins! Holy crow....I cannot even imagine! LOL!! The fabulous Onesie Twosie set from Taylored Expressions was the PERFECT choice when creating this card!
I started with sketch CPS266 from Card Positioning Systems for the layout, and all of the patterned paper is the delightful new On The Sunny Side from My Minds Eye! I was going for gender neutral but I fear that this came out a touch masculine.
For the focal images, I stamped the onesie from Onesie Twosie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and then cut them out with the Onesie Taylored Die. I then paper pieced them, cutting out each little bitty piece, with a piece of patterned paper that I used on the card.
Here is a closeup of the onsies. I added some shading with Copic Markers after I paper pieced them. I then popped them up with Foam Tape onto the focal panel. I stamped the sentiment, "Twins are double the fun" onto a panel of Choice Buttercream Cardstock cut with the Bracket Frame Taylored Die and I tucked it under the focal panel. A simple red grosgrain ribbon/bow combo, created with The Bow Easy, finishes this one off.
Here are the Copic Markers I've used on this card:
