Wish Big {MFTWSC73}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It's week 73 of our WSC Getting Sketchy (May 23-May 29). We have another fabulous sketch for you this week! Meet MFTWSC73!

Seriously, it has been Birthday party central around here.  Every weekend we are on the go, and I needed another Birthday card for one of Meredith's friends.  I pulled out the DARLING Pure Innocence Believe In Magic this week and got to work!

She is stamped onto X Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic Markers.  I added some glass glitter to her wings and skirt for some shimmer and shine.  I cut out the panel and layered it using Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  The sentiment, "Wish Big" was stamped onto a panel of Sweet Tooth Cardstock cut with the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics.  It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but I added a border with the Open Bracket Border Die-Namics.

All of the patterned paper is Indie Chic Saffron from My Minds Eye, which  I LOVE.  Here is a closeup of my coloring on this little cutie.  I LOVE her.

For an accent I added a flower using one of my all time favorite flower dies, the Pretty Posies Die-Namics, and I added a button in the center, cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics, and tied with some Charcoal Twine.  Here is a closeup.

On the inside, I stamped her again in Purely Pomegranate Ink and stamped another sentiment, "Wishing You A Fairy Good Day".

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

And here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Have you missed any sketches along the way? Print out all the sketches HEREUpload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC73 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, May 29 to play along.
