You Float My Boat {RC and TSG Blog Hop}!



Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  Welcome to the Ribbon Carousel and the There She Goes Blog Hop!  YAY!!!

There are some AMAZING prizes to be had...I will give you all the deets after I chat about my card (grin).  I used the ADORABLE Float My Boat from There She Goes on my card today.  I stamped the image onto X Press It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added some Crystal Stickles to the water for some shimmer and shine.

I cut out and layered the image with Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics from MFT.  All of the patterned paper is from A Boy's Life from Echo Park Papers.  I created a trio of flags using different patterns and the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics, also from MFT.  The sentiment, "You Float My Boat" was stamped onto a panel cut with the File Tab Die-Namics.  The border was cut using the Open Zig Zag Border Die-Namics.

I added some brads from my stash and some DELISH ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel, Orange Burlap Loop Wired Ribbon!  LOVE LOVE LOVE this ribbon!!!

    Jodi...I love your work! It's always so clean and easy on the eye. This stamped image is darling...and I love the sparkly water! I like the slight roll on the banner flags, too. Perfection!
