Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! 

Whew.  I have had a HECK of a week, I am certainly glad it's Friday!  Once I got the girls into bed I came down to my stamp room to create a card.  My mojo was hiding from me...well, that and there was a bug down here the other day (my stamp room is in the unfinished part of our basement), and I have been a touch scared to head back in here to be honest.

I wasn't sure what I wanted to create tonight, but then I saw Jen's Deconstructed Sketch for this week, DS62, and inspiration hit!  I pulled out the gorgeous Daisy Bouquet from Taylored Expressions and stamped it onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I colored it with Copic Markers and then fussy cut it out.  All of the patterned paper is Indie Chic Ginger from My Minds Eye.

 

After cutting out the image I popped it up with Foam Tape onto the rectangle panel I created, and I added a border with the Scalloped Eyelet Border Taylored Die.  I cut a tag from Choice Buttercream Cardstock with the Mini Tags Taylored Dies and stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment.  I attached it around the vase with some linen thread.  For the corner accent I added a corner punch element, and for the horizontal zig zag panel in the sketch I added a row of rhinestones.  Here is a closeup of the bouquet.
