Congratulations {MFTWSC84}!

It's week 84 of our WSC Getting Sketchy (August 8 - August 14). We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC84!

I used this week's sketch to create a baby card I needed for someone at work.  I pulled out the super sweet Pure Innocence Girl and Baby and got to work.  I stamped her, colored her with Copic Markers and then paper pieced her dress.  All of the patterned paper is Neapolitan from Dear Lizzy.  I cut out and layered the focal panel using the Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

The sentiment, "Congratulations" is from Pure Innocence All Occassion Sentiments and I stamped it onto a panel cut with the Ticket Tab Die-Namics.  I added a heart cut with the Hearts A Plenty Die-Namics and topped it with a Pink Lemonade Button tied with some linen thread.

Using My Favorite Felt in Bubblegum, I created a trio of rolled roses using the Rolled Rose Die-Namics and Mini Rolled Roses Die-Namics.  I added a bit more linen thread beneath them.  I also added a border using the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.  Here is a closeup of this little sweetie as well as the roses.

On the inside I added more patterned paper and the Kraft panel was stamped with another sentiment, and I stamped her again, this time in Sugar Fresh Ink.

Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
