Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another MFT Sketch! This week, we are up to MFTWSC110! WOW...110 sketches already? That went fast!!
I super love this week's sketch, and I actually rotated it in order to use this darling image, Pure Innocence You Color My World. I was asked my a friend to make a birthday card for her to give someone, and I thought this sketch would work perfectly!
I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with lots and lots of Copic Markers. I cut out the panel, and layered it, with the Oval STAX 1 Die-Namics and Oval STAX 2 Die-Namics. All of the patterned papers are the delish new Notable papers from My Minds Eye. Love.
Here is a closeup of this little painter. Isn't she a cutie?
I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics for the center, vertical panel of the sketch. and the flower was cut with my favorite flower die...the Pretty Posies Die-Namics, which I topped off with a Tangy Orange Button and Hemp Cord (of course!). I stamped the birthday girl's name onto a Whip Cream panel cut with the Accent It Labels and Tabs Die-Namics using the Typewriter Alphabet. I tucked it under the flower so that the other end of the panel peeks out.
On the inside, I added more patterned paper, a border cut with the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics, and a sentiment from Pure Innocence All Occasion Sentiments, "Happy Birthday".
Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card (which is a surprisingly large amount considering I just colored her!)
Here are the MFT goodies I've used on my card:
