MFT Release Countdown: 2!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

We are counting down to the April MFT release!  The entire new release will be available tomorrow night, Tuesday April 8th at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!!

Today, I have a card to share with you using the new Laina Lamb Designs Happy Graduation, the Laina Lamb Design Graduation Accents and the Star Background!  LOVE!

I started by cutting a Smooth White panel with the Designer Labels 4 Die-Namics, and stamped it with the sentiment, "Here's to a BRIGHT Future" using Black Licorice and Red Hot Inks.

I used the LLD Graduation Accents Die-Namics to create the graduation cap and diploma, and added a Red Hot tag cut with the Notched Tag Die-Namics, on which I stamped "For the Grad" in Black Licorice Ink.

The main background Kraft panel was cut with the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics and added a Smooth White mat cut with the Blueprints 2 Die-Namics.  I stamped the Kraft panel using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink using the new Star Background, and I sponged the edges with Sweet Tooth as well.

On the inside, I again used the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics, and stamped the Star Background again.  I then stamped another sentiment, "Happy Graduation" in Black Licorice Ink.

Here are the MFT products I've used on my card:

  6. This is so pretty!!!! I love how you sponged the edges of the kraft colored base with white ink - I never would have thought to do that! It's like the chalkboard look without the black cs. Works!!!! TFS
