MFT Release Countdown: 2!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

We are still counting down to the incredible new MFT Release!  All of the new products will be available tomorrow night at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!  I have two cards to share with you today!

Both of my cards today feature the AMAZING new Laina Lamb Designs Delicious Birthday (LOVE) and the fabulous new Laina Lamb Designs Bring On The Cake Die-namics (LOVE)!  I think these are my favorite products from the new release! They are SO fun!

JULY MFT Delicious Birthday

I cut the cake with the new LLD Bring On The Cake Die-namics using Smooth White Card Stock and Pink Lemonade Card Stock.  The cake dish (so cute right?) was cut from Sno Cone Card Stock and I gave it a touch of sparkle using a Clear Wink of Stella Marker.  I cut the candles from Smooth White Card Stock as well, and then used Copic Markers to color in the flame.  I gave them a coat of sparkle as well.

I used the current SCS Sketch Challenge for my layout, SC494, and I cut the Smooth White Card Stock panel using Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I added a mat of Kraft Card Stock using the Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I cut the Sno Cone Card Stock panel using the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics, and the Pink Lemonade Card Stock panel using the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics.  I used Smooth White Card Stock to cut the flag with the Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.  I stamped “Have a Delicious Birthday” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I added a Sno Cone Button tied with Hemp Cord to finish off the front.

On the inside, I again added a Smooth White Card Stock panel cut with the Blueprints 13 Die-namics and a Kraft Card Stock panel cut with the Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a Pink Lemonade Card Stock cut with the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics, and I stamped two more sentiments from LLD Delicious Birthday using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

My second card also features the new LLD Delicious Birthday set and LLD Bring On The Cake Die-namics, along with the new Diagonal Stripes Background and Pinking Edge STAX Die-namics!  I used the current MFT Color Palette Challenge, MFTCPC7, which I LOVE!

JULY MFT Cake

I used Banana Split Card Stock to cut the cake using the LLD Bring On The Cake Die-namics, and I cut the icing from Smooth White Card Stock.  I added shimmer with a Clear Wink of Stella Marker.  The candles were cut from Blu Raspberry Card Stock and Tangy Orange Card Stock.  I placed the cake onto two layered circles of Smooth White Card Stock, which I cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and the new Pinking Edge Circle STAX Die-namics.

I cut the main Sno Cone Card Stock panel using Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and cut another panel of Blu Raspberry Card Stock.  I stamped the Blu Raspberry Card Stock panel with the new Diagonal Stripes Background and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink

The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock and stamped with a sentiment from LLD Delicious Birthday, “Did someone say cake?”, using Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink.  I added a Banana Split Button tied with Hemp Cord.

On the inside, I again cut the Sno Cone Card Stock panel with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and stamped the Blu Raspberry Card Stock panel with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I stamped “It’s Your Day, Get Your Cake On” with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
