Stamping A Latte: Creative Construction With Blueprints: Celebrate With Tag Builders!

It’s time for the July Creative Construction With Blueprints feature! This month, the MFT Design Team is creating birthday tags using the Tag Builder Blueprints Die-namics! I created two tags for this feature, and I’ve used the new BB Birthday Bears and MSTN Things With Wings along with Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics!

I just ADORE these BB Birthday Bears. They are SO cute! For this tag, I started by watercoloring a panel of Smooth White Card Stock with my ZIG Clean Color Markers. I scribbled the markers onto a piece of acetate, added water and then placed the card stock on top. Once it was dry, I cut out the tag using the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

I cut the bear from X-Press It Blending Card using the BB Birthday Bears Die-namics, and then stamped him using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using BB Birthday Bears. I colored him with Copic Markers and added him to the tag using Jody Boosters. I cut the circle from Smooth White Card Stock and then cut the panel again with “4U”. I then used the “4U” die again to cut Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock and Sour Apple Card Stock. I added shimmer to the 4 and U using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker and then inset them into the pre-cut circle. The star was cut from Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock and also coated with my Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. I used Smooth White Card Stock to cut the circle panel for the top of the tag, and then threaded it with some gold twine.

For my second tag, I created a little summery scene! I started by cutting the tag from Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock using the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics. I cut the grass from Sour Apple Card Stock using the Grassy Edges Die-namics, and then trimming it down again using the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

I cut the sun, bird bath and bird from X-Press It Blending Card using MSTN Things With Wings Die-namics and stamped them with MSTN Things With Wings using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers and added shimmer to the sun and part of the bird bath using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. I used Smooth White Card Stock to cut the circle panel for the top of the tag, and I threaded it with a bit of Hemp Cord.
