Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!
It’s time for a new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! This week, we are up to SSSC277!
I totally love this week’s sketch, and I thought the circle panel would be a fantastic canvas for this delish piece of cake from the new Piece of Cake set! I stamped the cake onto Smooth White Card Stock using Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink, Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink, Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink (for the flames). I added shimmer to the flames using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. I cut out the panel using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics layered with another panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Circle STAX 1 Die-namics.
The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics. I used a piece of acetate and colored right onto it using my Zig Clean Color markers, spritzed the acetate with water and then placed the card stock panel on top. I LOVE this technique and the result! Once the panel was dry, it was perfect to layer my other elements on. I stamped “Let’s Celebrate Your Existence With Cake” from Piece of Cake using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I added a panel of Cotton Candy Card Stock stamped with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, along with a layer of Silver Foil Card Stock. I finished off the card with a trio of elements, using a sequin, enamel dot and rhinestone.
Recipe: Stamps: Piece of Cake and Diagonal Stripes Background (MFT) Ink: Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink, Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink and Sweet Tooth PIgment Ink (MFT) Card Stock: Smooth White Card Stock, Cotton Candy Card Stock and Silver Foil Card Stock (MFT) Accessories: Blueprints 13 Die-namics, Blueprints 20 Die-namics, Circle STAX 1 Die-namics, Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics (MFT), Clear Wink of Stella Brush Markers, 6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins, Enamel Dots, Rhinestones and Jody Boosters
