I Love You Just The Way You Are! {SSSC284}

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!

It’s time for a new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  This week we are the up to SSSC284!  SUCH a fun sketch!

Print

I super loved this week’s sketch and had so much fun making my card!  I started with the background, and cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and then, using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, I created the background using a piece of acetate and a spray bottle of water.  I scribbled the colors onto the acetate, spritzed the water and then gently placed the ink onto the panel.  I love this technique!

After my background was complete, I used Circle STAX 1 Die-namics to cut out circles from scrap card stock.  Then, using the panels as a mask, I sponged on Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink for a bokeh effect.  It didn’t really photograph well, but it’s a cool look in real life.  I then stamped “I LOVE YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE” from MSTN I Love You More using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I finished off the card by adding a mat of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics, and then added sequins and rhinestones.
