Thanks A Latte! {CTD366}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge!  This week, Joan has challenged us to use rust, aqua and gray!  LOVE this color combo!

Print

These colors just scream fall to me, and I was inspired to re-create the Starbucks cups that they offer this fall!  I used the LLD Coffee Cup Die-namics to create the cup and cut it from X-Press It Blending Card.  I stamped the cup using Blissful Blooms using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and then colored the flowers using Copic Markers.  I popped the cup up with Jody Boosters on top of circles cut with the Stitched Circle Frames Die-namics which I cut from Persimmon Prestige Card Stock and Gravel Gray Prestige Card Stock.

The main panel was cut from Gravel Gray Prestige Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and layered using Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a strip patterned paper from the Calm & Cozy Chevron Paper Pack using the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics.  I used the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics to cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock, and stamped “Thanks a Latte” from LLD Perk Up using Persimmon Premium Dye Ink.  I wrapped the card with Hemp Cord and created a bow.  I added a button cut from Sno Cone Card Stock using the Vintage Buttons Die-namics.

  3. Those florals make a fabulous background pattern for the coffee cup! I'm bummed that I just got a latte earlier today and there was no fall print on my cup! It probably hasn't reached our rural area yet. :-/
