Stay Cool! {CTD398}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge!  This week, Lynn has challenged us to use red raspberry, hot pink, lime green and yellow!!  SO summery and fun!

My card is super summery, thanks to this week’s gorgeous inspiration picture!  I started with the main panel, which I cut from the County Fair Paper Pack using Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and I cut a panel of Natural Card Stock and stamped “STAY COOL” from Stay Cool using Versamark Ink.  I then heat embossed the sentiment using White Detail Embossing Powder.

The frosty beverage was cut from Smooth White Card Stock and Translucent Vellum using the Mason Jar Mug Die-namics, and I then cut another mug out of Red Hot Card Stock and trimmed it down for my “punch” in the glass.  The lemon slice was cut from Lemon Drop Card Stock and Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock.  The ice cubes were cut from Smooth White Card Stock and the straw was stamped using Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink.  I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.
