Sensational Stitched Flowers: Day Two!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

Today is the second day of previews of the GORGEOUS new Sensational Stitched Flowers Card Kit!  Oh how I ADORE this kit…these stitched flowers have my heart for sure!

I’ve paired the Sensational Stitched Flowers Card Kit with some other fab MFT products to create my card today!  I started with a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I then layered two circles, the Sweet Tooth Card Stock panel cut with Circle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then a Black Licorice Card Stock panel cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  I stamped the Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock panel using the Scattered Surface Background using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed the panel using White Detail Embossing Powder.

The flowers and leaves were all cut using the card stock included in the Sensational Stitched Flowers Card Kit, and I layered them around the circle panel.  I’ve used the new Thanks Die-namics to cut a panel of Silver Sparkle Card Stock.  The Thanks Die-namics is the newest free with $60 die, and MFT will not have a new free with $60 die with each kit release!  SO exciting!  I then cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Label Tape Die-namics, and stamped “SENDING” rom Label Maker Love using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I then popped that up with Foam Tape above the sparkly “thanks”.  I finished off my card with a trio of rhinestones/enamel dots.

  4. I agree that the contrast between the colors is pleasing. I like the fact that you kept the flowers in low profile...better for mailing. Also like your use of the Silver Sparkle cardstock.

  7. Jodi! This card is so cool on soooo many levels! I love the idea of the versamark and white embossing powder with the scattered surface background. Amazing looking! That's the first thing I said, "How did she do that?"

And, I love the dark and light contrasts...and lets not forget the glitter!
