Beautiful Butterflies Card Kit: Day One!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

Friends, it’s time.  It’s time for another AMAZING new MFT Card Kit, and this month, the Beautiful Butterflies Card Kit simply knocks it out of the park. RIGHT.OUT.OF.THE.PARK.

Oh!  I LOVE this new set!  For my card, I started by stamping “You Give Me Butterflies” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink using You Give Me Butterflies, onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the Radial Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  I layered the panel onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and stamped with the Split Diagonal Background using Versamark Ink and embossed with Clear Detail Embossing Powder.

After embossing the background, I used Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and Cranberry Cocktail Premium Dye Ink to sponge on the background color.  The butterfly was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Beautiful Butterflies Die-namics, and stamped using Beautiful Butterflies with Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, Cranberry Cocktail Premium Dye Ink and Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I popped up the focal panel and the butterfly with Foam Tape, and finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

    Thank you for showing the use of the background stamp! I had not seen it before. I also appreciate seeing how only one butterfly can be used. Your card is lovely.
