Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Vickie has challenged us to use red, orange, yellow and purple! Such a fun color combo!
I had lots of fun with this color combo, and created a card full of birthday candles using the Make A Wish set and Make A Wish Die-namics! I cut the candles and flames from Smooth White Card Stock using the Make A Wish Die-namics, and then stamped them using Make A Wish with Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink, Red Hot Premium Dye Ink, Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink and Pineapple Premium Dye Ink. I popped them up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.
The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 27 Die-namics, and I stamped “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOT STUFF” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. The main panel was cut from patterned paper from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack, and I added the focal panel using Foam Tape. I coated the flames of the candles with some sparkle using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.
Check out what the Color Throwdown Team has created today!
